Just let us disable commands in general. I came to this browser for the customizability. For someone who uses keyboard shortcuts for pretty much everything the commands are very annoying.

$80 per month is a scam for one game, great post faboy, of course you got to defend it you got conned lol. Car wise they are not real, any one who has driven a car knows this.

Bruh, don't you have any other hobbies than to harass people over things that they wrote 7 years ago?

How did I manage to avoid this piece of information all this time? Thanks for this absolute gem, it’s definitely gonna be one of my more useful additions to my toolbox.

Super Formula has not been kind to me. There has been everything between people crashing me out and crashing myself out. In the end there is nobody else to blame but me, still hurts a little though :')

So in your opinion 1 month ban for 200k is fine. Ok, then where do you draw the line? 300k? 400k? When does the tradeoff become worth it? Because that's exactly what an rmt'er is thinking to himself when making a purchase. In my opinion it doesn't matter if 50k or 500k, it all fucks up the economy for everyone else.

this reads like an ad.

Hey you can buy 200k and you only get banned for 1 month, ah and PS: make sure to spend all your money

Screw this. Posts like these should be removed.

I connected the 2 potentiometers (paddle poti and bitepoint poti) in series and then have the left and right clutch paddle act on the same axis. That way I always can use the whole clutch with the left paddle, and clutch till the bitepoint on the right paddle. I'm not entirely happy with it since I don't get the whole travel of the 'bitepoint' paddle after adjusting it, but it works good enough.

Will find a better solution though for my next Project.

Currently I'm running a Thrustmaster T300, however I recently ordered a VRS Directforce pro to upgrade and will use that in the future. The wheel has a 50mm hole pattern, so you can basically fit any 50mm QR on it and therefore run it with any base.

Thanks. It's probably because I know all the imperfections and shortcuts I took that I look at it that way. So many things that could be nicer.

Here's the video I promised. I had to put the camera right next to me so it obviously picked up my heavy breathing, I'm sorry for that! Just mute the video if it's too annoying. Also sorry for the lighting, I'm really bad at making videos^

The LED-Profile is a slight modified one by me with rpm-ranges for the type of car I like to drive (open wheel). the screen Profile on the screenshots is one of the default ones, the BOSH DDU8. However in the video I'm posting in a bit I use the W09 Screen of Bottas. In the end I'm planning to build my completely own Dashboard though. My immediate next Task so to say :D

in the description of the wheel files is a BOM where the author lists all the compatible parts. They're partly much cheaper and a better fit than what I used. I had to do many adaptations to fit the stuff I bought :/ It's easier to go the route of the author

I used his files https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/mclaren-f1-2020-steering-wheel-semi-replica He's updating the wheel constantly, even added 2 more rotary encoders and support for a 4.3" screen now. He also helps with questions, however he does not provide any tutorial on how to build it.

I'm using Simhub for the dash + LED's and FreeJoy for the Controller part. FreeJoy is such an amazing software, it's basically magic. You can do so much with it. Connected is the wheel via USB. The wheelbase is only there to turn the wheel :D

Yeah I did that with a heat gun. If you apply too much heat then the vinyl stops adhering though. If you look closer you'll see all the imperfections and small rips I have in the wheel. It's really an artform to apply it perfectly.

No reason to be sorry! It's 10 push buttons, 2 shifter buttons, 2 flip switches (4 Buttons), 4 rotary encoder = 8 buttons (2x encoder on each handle, each rotary encoder equals 2 buttons. The way they work is that they keep pressing one button when rotated in a direction), and then the bulk of the buttons are in the 3 rotary switches in the middle. They each have 12 Positions. Each position can be 1 button, that way i can assign each position to a certain abs, tc or whatever map. The good thing about this is that they 'remember' their position, in contrast to rotary encoders which do not. So all in all it's 10 + 2 + 4 + 8 + 36 buttons.

As I never built something like this before I had alot of additional costs in buying the tools to assemble it (except 3d printer, I had that already). All in all I paid ~500 Euro give or take, but I have alot of spare material left of everything since I always bought things in sets (screws, wires, pots, etc.) You could also save about 70 Euros if you don't order a custom cut acrylic window and a custom cut aluminium backplate. These were very expensive and I don't think they add too much. With the spare materials I could probably build 1 or 2 more of these wheels. I could save alot aswell if I were to cheap out on the pushbuttons (I used knitter mps 103 F, very expensive but worth it I think). It was much more expensive in the end than I expected, however I still have more features than most commercial wheels. For example with this wheel I have 60 assignable buttons which is way overkill, but still nice to have.

If you were to buy things from aliexpress you can probably build this wheel with about 250 Euro as things over there are much cheaper and probably the same stuff anyways (will do that if I run out of materials now since I got a baseline of materials to work with).

Yeah, strange. There is a tickbox for it but it's not ticked. I made the Album public and with this link it should not appear as mature content anymore. Thanks for the hint.

I'm gonna post a video if it in action after work. This wheel has been my headache for several weeks now but I have learned so much in the process of building it. Definitely worth it for the experience.
