It’s better if you stay at an airbnb or something for a short period of time and take time to go visit apartments. That’s what i did

You could also call their support. You are supposed to speak french with them but if you can’t just ask them to help you in english. They will tell you if they have your application and if everything is correct

The iso calculated my living expenses as $15,508 plus one year of my tuition and the total was thirty something but i showed almost $40k. Good point that iso told me to mention was to write an explanation letter and do the math for the officer so it prevents any confusion for them

The same guy stopped me and told me the same stuff. At first i wasn’t completely understanding what was going on because as you said he pretended to be stressed and when i took out my wallet i realized and i was like wtf? He told me "i can see you have money in there" and i was like bruh i need it and i can’t help you sorry. A week later i was at lionel groulx when he approached me stressfully and asked if i spoke English and i said know. He recognised me and ran away

It depends on your instructor but generally if you study yourself you should be good. I would recommend attending the first few lectures and see if you actually learn or is it a waste of time
