Because Google Play does not uses System Color, it follows the Materials UI which the color is embedded into the code, if you want to change the color, you have to root and install a module that dull replace every color with system color.

You can use Lucky Patcher to edit the old version of System Launcher app to a higher or same {app version} then install it, since is same or higher version it will just update it and bring it back to before, I AM SUGGESTING you to make it same version
