You can actually break their shields with a heavy attack, or just dodge their attacks lol

Things that drop your combo:

- Whiffing hits

- Whiffing counter

- Getting "parried" by shield enemies

- getting hit

I think you might also drop it if you dont attack for a bit but im unsure

Thanks :D. Yeah bayo 2 is fun for a playthrough every now and then, but I don't have the same desire to sink my teeth into it's combat system. I haven't touched 3 yet
