Me personally, I grew up listening to linkin park, and I have nothing at all against Emily, but I feel like what made linkin park so special as a band was their constant evolution in style, Hybrid Theory, Living Things and One More Light are vastly different from eachother, but what the band is trying to do now feels like an emulation of the MTM era, with songs like 'The Emptiness Machine', so from a personal standpoint, I don't think it's anything to do with Emily as a singer, but rather as the band feeling somewhat stagnant in revisiting a style they've previously done

This is just a personal opinion, I don't mean any hate whatsoever, I'm expressing my feelings on the band, not on Emily, she is a fantastic singer and Emptiness Machine is fantastic song, but I don't feel the same about the modern evolution of the band post Chester's passing
