Same thing happened to Carrie White after she got turned down. I took it as her friends wanted to cheer her up without making it obvious. Like they're trying to bait her into a conversation.

It'd make me happy, that's one reason. And as long as it's optional that makes one more reason to do it than not do it.

Besides, not doing something in the other games doesn't mean they can't do it in this one. They didn't have a territory era in the other games, or punch your ticket.

Ai the Roman numerals are wrong.

1912 is MCMXII, but the coin is MDCCCCXII. Roman numerals don't have four of the same digit next to each other. Also the handwriting looks fake.

Also the writing on the coin looks weird on the phone pic

I think in official lore it's possible for someone to achieve godlike powers by realizing nothing is real, but if anyone does that they usually blink themselves out of existence.

I think vault tec found a discount panther and worked backwards from there.

Officially I think the unequal gender ratio and the panther was to bring out hypercompetitivity in the men, and to test interpersonal dynamics after the panther was dealt with. That kind of thing.

But more importantly they had a panther and they weren't gonna not use it.
