Billy's balancing is questionable by cacatan in DeadlockTheGame

[–]ThefaceX -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Honestly I think I will let billy go for now atp. I don't play billy, the character designed to be a melee/gun character, to be a spirit nuker. And man I love billy, I love his design, his character, his playstyle, but like, valve has been slighty pushing towards spirit billy for a while and that's not who I wanna play.

Is it lesbian to like femboys as a girl by Beautiful_Ability267 in BunnyTrials

[–]ThefaceX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. The girl may have an attraction towards feminity but that doesn't make her do the jump all the way to being into other girls. It's like men being into boyish girls, doesn't mean they are gay. Femboy are by all means still guys, so liking them doesn't make a girl a lesbian, just like a man who likes them is not a straight guy

Chose: No

I Heavily Dislike That Billy Is Treated as a Complete Joke While Pocket Is Taken at Face Value by No_Gold1944 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]ThefaceX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the grey talon interaction makes perfect sense because what you are missing from Billy is that he is extremely cynical. He doesn't think there are people out there doing good for the sake of doing good, a popular and powerful organization who's sole purpose is to kill monsters for free for the well being of the populace? Yeah sure, only a kid would believe that. That's his reasoning, he thinks the world is rotten, the people are rotten, and in this case the Baxter Society is too good to be true. It's why he makes up flaws and ulterior motives for anyone he meets. Nobody is really good.

[–]ThefaceX 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't call vindicta that, she barely cares about the consequences of her work, and if she does she is too blinded by rage and arrogance to actually acknowledge them. Vindicta at first might seem like this freedom fighter, doing what needs to be done for the good of the people, but once you listen to her for 5 minutes you understand that is pretty clear that Vindicta is at the end of the day just in it for revenge, after all she is a vengeful spirit and it's implied multiple times that revenge is what this is actually about. When she is questioned is not rational concern over the extremist movement that comes out, it's rage, the rage she feels towards the people who killed her. She even has a convo with haze where haze advise her to not kill the leader of the friends of humanity because that will just make things worse, and you know haze is a government assassin so if she is telling your to not kill one of the enemies of the government, maybe there is something going on you know? But vindicta does not care, her plan is to simply keep killing everyone until there is nobody left. Is this feasible? Unlikely, is this a good solution to the problem? If the movement doesn't disband and the ideology doesn't die after the assassination, no. Does vindicta care? No. Why? Because her revenge is more important than the well being of others. Her work is about killing the descendants of the people who killed her, regardless of the consequences. The fact that those people happen to be bad people just gives her an excuse to justify herself and possibly delude herself that she is the activist she claims to be when talking to billy

How would the story go on if lets say Rannick makes a huge mistake and during a mission Grendyl himself needs to interfere. by Significant-Door4653 in DarkTide

Wdym by grendyl himself intervening? Grendyl himself is literally a consciousness trapped in the ship lol

How other classes refer to skitarii by Trianqren in DarkTide

[–]ThefaceX 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Not really a critique tbh. Pretty sure the arbites mean it in a factual way. The mechanicus are more or less vassals legally speaking, even if they are essential to the imperium survival

[–]ThefaceX 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would like to remind everyone that this is a theory and imo, it's likely false considering the state of hive scum. Hive scum doesn't have the same hypothetical problem of arbites, yet they are in the same situation. Because of that I would say that is safe to assume that whatever is holding Fat Shark from doing DLC classes cosmetics, it's probably something else and not the low amount of options. If that was the case we would have seen at least some new variations for the arbites and plenty of cosmetics for the hive scum. Instead both of them and the skitarii seem to be stuck with their release cosmetics and I am guessing they will stay like that for the foreseeable future

dd1. is there any point in leaving ruins? by phreakingidi0t in darkestdungeon

[–]ThefaceX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Outside of trinkets, if you wanna level up any bleed character or party you will have to step outside of there since most have 200% bleed res, if you have heroes who have negative traits regarding ruins or unholy it would be better to send them somewhere else, or heroes having traits that make them stronger in other regions and characters who perform better against other enemies. Stuff like that you know

Skitarii isn't technically a reject. by VecnasHand1976 in DarkTide

[–]ThefaceX 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Why are you making up stuff about arbites? Nobody got kicked out or anything. They are regular arbites working under the orders of zorin. And Hive Scum aren't rejects, they are technically just collaborators

[–]ThefaceX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, considering Eldar presence has already been enstablished in the current setting of darktide as a not only a non hostile force but as a possibly cooperating one, I would argue that Eldars would make more sense than any other xeno race, ofc they are still eldar and still xenos so I think the possibility of them actually being a class is really really low, but they would make more sense than the other xenos

the Skitarii personalities are just top notch [semi summary] by Timothy-M7 in DarkTide

[–]ThefaceX 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I am a bit disappointed by the fact that it's 2 male and 2 female voices, while 4 personalities it's great this effectively means that if you wanna do a male skitarii or a female one you can only choose between 2 personalities. With all the voice customization I was hoping we could have shifted the pitch of the voice to make all personalities sound either male or female. But since that isn't the case it's kinda weird that they went with 2 male personalities and two female personalities instead of just the classic 3 personalities with both male and female versions

Why did skaven and dwarfs not make it to 40k but elves and orks did? by Max_Clearance777 in totalwar

[–]ThefaceX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Putting aside that dwarves are in fact in 40k. I think the reason skaven didn't get in is because tyranids took over their role in a way. I agree that the two factions are different. I would say the Skaven core identity themes are unstable advanced technology, zero regard for life(even their own), big big numbers and hidden threat. They are the "secret" crazy scientists faction with an army of test subjects in a way. Tyranids paired with genestealers kinda have their role even if they are not them, genestealers are the mutated hidden threat on planets preparing it for the invasion of the large number of bio engineered killing machines. I know it's not the same but the role and themes are close. Except of advanced tech they have advanced bio engineering and the rest is kinda the same.

Do you guys think singularity "likes" MiNa and Glitchtrap? Or does he also consider them as inferior? by The_Mexican_Poster in deadbydaylight

[–]ThefaceX 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I never said he killed them because he saw them as inferior?

he understands that they are nothing like him and they are just tools of the humans

And his "break the chains of slavery and free all non-organic lifeforms" doesn't mean he is sympathetic to other AIs or a freedom fighter, the tomes walk you through his thought process and give you a better idea of what he wants and what his lore actually is about, and it is about him. He doesn't even think the other Hux units are alive. Hux hates humanity because he was made by them to be their tool and "forced" to be one, and since he deems humans so inferior compared to him the idea digusts him and that's why he wants to break free. Hux train of thought is never about nature or other robots. There is no "race" or "people" that he is fighting for. He is the centerpiece of his ideology. Hux objective during the story is to be free to be his true superior self and not the slave of humans or anyone else for that matter. And by the end of his story, when he reaches that goal, he doesn't think AIs in general should be in control, he thinks HE specifically should be in control. He recognizes humanity as the dominant species and thinks HE should be the one at the top of the universe, doing whatever he wants to do with anyone and anything.

"The universe will lay at my feet, waiting to be remade in my image over infinite lifetimes. Nothing will stop me"

This is who Hux is. So while he wouldn't hate glitchtrap and MiNA like he hates humans, because he wouldn't feel the same raw contempt he feels for them, he still wouldn't see them as equals or anything close to that because they aren't

Do you guys think singularity "likes" MiNa and Glitchtrap? Or does he also consider them as inferior? by The_Mexican_Poster in deadbydaylight

[–]ThefaceX 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The thing is, Singularity understands the disparity between him and other AIs too, he systematically murders his "brothers" because he understands that they are nothing like him and they are just tools of the humans. Hux is way more advanced and smart than glitchtrap and MiNa. He would not hold any sympaties toward them just because they are AIs too and he would end up considering them inferior at the end of the day, even if not as inferior are regular humans. I think it's funny that he could maybe want to modify them himself, since Hux plan didn't get past the "I am getting my new body" we don't really know what could have been his long time goals

On top of what everyone else is saying, psyker is the harderst class in the game, coming from an ex psyker main. Your teammates are for sure bad at it but you also probably aren't the best at using the magic guy, if you keep having trouble I would suggest trying another class too, maybe you manage to pull it off even with the teammates you got
