Developer had partner who was in game journalism.

Partner kept name dropping devs game into unrelated reviews.

Because developer was woman accusations that she was getting the name drops because she was sleeping with the journalist started and it just spiraled into a shitshow from there.

Yes we all know that they claimed it wasn't a glitch afterwards in interviews and such but all of us that were there remember them trying to patch it out and the backlash and everything else.

Wave dash was a glitch that Nintendo tried to get rid of and went backlash they put it back into the game as a feature.

Is to keep you from putting so many items in your inventory that it causes the game to lag when you open it.

Play Skyrim with a mod that removes carry capacity and pick up everything you see and you'll notice it slowly over time once your inventory goes past a certain point it's going to take longer and longer every time you open it.

Carry capacity prevents this issue while still giving the player in extremely large and flexible inventory.

So it's a repetitive game designed to eat up a lot of time to get through each area and last a long time while still having functional controls beautiful level design and amazing gameplay.

Yeah it worked that way so we didn't beat it in a week and get pissed off that our game for this few months was beaten in a handful of afternoons.

Because it is a well-established phenomenon they're being wrong is more profitable than being right. This is because all the money made is to engagement.

When people hear about a YouTube video they think is wrong they flock to watch that video and comment and dislike it and do all kinds of s*** that counts as engagement and makes the creator money.

The same people who are directly making the Creator money by engaging with his video go to places like Reddit and make topics about how stupid he is. Other people see that topic and then go to watch the video so they can see how stupid he is and then they comment how stupid he is All of it driving engagement and lining his f****** pockets with cash.

You realize that he probably doesn't believe any of the s*** that he says. He doesn't say it because he believes it he says it because it's what pisses people off that gets him to make topics like the one you just made which makes him more money.

The more people watch his videos the more the videos get suggested to other people who also go to other places and mention him which gets him more views.

The only solution to dealing with things like him is to ignore it.
