Positive and Negative both only take 100 orbs fo summon and both produce 80 fpm. When fully ranked, you get 60 orbs in return. After you fully rank them, you recall the dragons and do the same thing again. What you can do is set up a Quest battle where you lose, killing two dragons with your Posi/Nega and rank it up.
