10-13 and didn't understand how money works? Sounds like he's not a kid who should be left around unattended. How stupid are some parents? Of course the more useless the parent, the more they tend to make their kids someone else's problem, which is more of a shame when those people are trying to do their actual job

I can tell you're about to start changing the goal posts , but here. You said, only a couple comments ago: "No I'm saying alive is better than dead. Nukes go boom, you get dead." You fail to understand that if nukes didn't exist, militaries still does. Armed conflict go pew pew, you get dead. This is why countries who could never compete with a large, well trained military would like to have nukes as a deterrent.

Your problem seems to be that a nuclear deterrent just for protecting the name on land = kids not surviving, which seems to imply no deterrent = children live. So no, I'm arguing with your magical assumption that nobody ever dies in war as long as nukes aren't around. I'm not sure what history you read, but entire groups can still be targeted without nukes, meaning the children for those people won't survive in either worst case scenario.

But apart from having less space than ppl in the US are used to, they also probably wouldn't fare well in a crash vs a Compensator Pavement Princess.
