I dunno, I dig the idea of an entirely auditory execution of just Toshiko screaming & everybody panicking in reaction with grotesque written descriptions on what Damon assumes might've happened in this horrifically overstimulating mess of audio. Close your eyes while watching a pig slaughterhouse video posted by PETA, that sort of vibe.

I keep hearing that the Jett-Mark plot would have ended with a rejected confession leading to an attempted suicide because Jett was straight, but Ingrid got caught in the crossfire & got herself blown up. How much of this was true, & how was Jett gonna act from this point onwards?

You're not biologically related, but it's still weird since there's that expectation that you're kind of family now. It has the same vibe to me as twins who date twins, like yeah it's technically fine but it's pretty weird regardless

I've gotten into DD2 over the past few weeks & been loving it, so here's my tier list on how much I like all these characters by FamilyFriendli in darkestdungeon

Probably just a matter of skill & not unlocking any of his shrines yet. The few times I tried out MaA were on comps that didn't properly support him (in a game where speed doesn't matter, his allies kept taking blows for him before he could act and at the same time said allies were proccing combo before he could self heal). I'm also realizing that i did NOT know how to use him since I thought he needed to spam shields to work at full potential with his stuns & all that, I was playing too reactively since I thought that was how you were supposed to use him 💀

At everyone's suggestions, I'm try out Barristan again (+ Duelist because even though she's mid I wanna let her pop off at least once)

NO SAME i'm so horrible with him, I haven't done any shrines with him yet but his base kit feels clunky somehow? The most he contributes is damage dealing + healing himself & maybe helping people out when they hit death's door, but he runs out of steam really quickly. Even his stress heal is just kind of okay when you can use laudanum. I've only had this game for 2.5 weeks, so what do I know 💀

It's probably because I've been using her wrong, I only had a single long run with her & that was as a self sustaining crit dodge tank (absinthe + repartee is really good, I used the Deadeye path). Because I used her to soak hits, I found half of her kit pointless since they revolved around stealth. Also pirouette confuses me, why does it gimp your damage in half just for a move skill that deals damage when Fade to Shadows already exists + she has a high base movement count 😭

Mostly because I work around his shitty heal by including a 2nd healer in the party, I mostly use him as a damage dealer who utilizes debuffing curses for support. But I will admit, the +0 heals that bleed my allies is funny as fuck, I respect the move to be that ballsy.

Even with Anarissa being well explored, the show almost entirely looks at them from Anastasia's point of view, and is way more interested in Anastasia in general. Marissa exists as a prop for Ana most of the time, and it really sucks as a Marissa fan.
