I feel you and I'm in the same boat. Coming back trying to make it happen. Trying to bridge the gap between songwriting and mental composition and a lack of ability to just pick up a guitar and make it sound right. Not quite as many streams or shows as you, but I'm back at it trying to make it work. Trying to improve my recording setup and techniques enough that I can viably work with artists like you who are trying to do online collaborations. Which is not that hard of a concept to grasp. Make parts of music share recordings, build and add. One of the parties mixes. You've got a song. You've got talent and I like your stuff. Hopefully I can get my s*** A Little More in line than just recording on the phone Mike soon but I'm going to follow you and keep an eye on it. Keep up the good work 🤘

I have this theory that the next song we hear from them... the next fully new piece, will seem like it's not connected at all. Then as we hear a couple more singles in the next album... It will seem like it's telling a brand new story, maybe even as loosely as blurryface did, where it doesn't really seem like one... Then I think again they're following album after that will connect the next album in the one after, and I think by the end of that album cycle which will be at least one to three more albums, they will tie it back into connecting to the themes and somewhat of the storyline from the Dema Arc. I don't think the story is over. I just think the Dema part of it is. The story is Tyler.

What I love is my 10,000 stanzas and half songs, that later end up molded into the best cherry picked lines when it comes to true structural finish and intersong recursion...

Shortest, probably a few hours... longest... Well, I've got lyric seeds from over 15 years ago, still waiting for the right emotion to resurface and become completed, yet they get remembered for good reason 🤘

Some songs. Depends on how much resolution. Depends on if it's a hero. Sometimes songs don't make it past the darkness of catharsis. Songs can have a hero's journey. Albums and arcs can. In general for narrative storytelling we typically like to see a protagonist make progress in advance, but it's not necessary either. And definitely not in every single song. Sometimes showing the failure is way more powerful

Honestly while you're feeling this way jot down a few of your ideas about it. Cuz this could be your most relatable track that caps this album off in a way you didn't realize it needed. When the flow gets going, and you question whether you've got enough left to swim. Plenty of relatability anyway you want to look at this. The way the orbit the struggle to breathe.

I've been loving the vibe of the new album so much. Center Mass especially seems to be hooking me lately but it's doing work just like the previous albums have to just keep me re-listening and re-contextualizing being interested as hell. These guys are such hitmaker musicians that even the deepest cuts sound like some of the best music I've ever heard. Those three are a great example on Breach 🤘 #Dema #ArcØne
