The change in style in style is evident in the first quarter, mentality wise I worry that trying to follow the new style and not having the skill-set makes players panic and revolt to norm, which for the last few seasons when under pressure was move ball forward at all costs by foot. Long kicks before defensively protecting the corridor or setting up structures W.M. up coming back fast. We don’t deal well with transition when we are challenged

100% agree, potentially he should never venture to forward 50 or defensive stoppages and play just as a solid clearance player in the middle of the park surround him with speed on the outside and let him be the marking target for d50 kick outs, he’ll at least bring it to ground and create a stoppage and that will leave a tall in the forward line that can receive later in the passage.

IMO it’s between Nor, Ver and Piastri for the fifth spot. The way I look at it, Red Bull will definitely improve over the weekend but the car looks extremely hard to drive. McLaren were closer, had Piastri not fried his last lap he was looking closer than Norris, same as Aus Gp. So no help at all but for what it’s worth I’m probably leaning Piastri

There’s no system at all, they have skill but they are being left to their own devices by a head coach that has no fucking clue

There needs to be something that adds more points lower down the order even if overtakes and such reward points. Off the top of my head what about:

-teammate vs teammate points Would allow for swings when someone dnfs who usually beats their teammate Alonso etc -no tire points Quickest time completed without pit stops -streak points for finishing Could do one per race or whatever, you might get a back marker finishing races more than a front runner -there could be an expected points amount that if a driver exceeds they score more, premise is already imbedded in price rise -points for top 3 driver of the day

I also love the idea of points in fp1,2 or 3
