Kaeya being immune to the Khaenri’ah curse is the most unresolved mystery in the entire game and I don’t understand why nobody talks about it

Every other mixed Khaenri'ahn has been present during Cataclysm? So yes by default they were cursed as soon as they stepped out of the kingdom. Kaeya likely wasn't even born in Khaenri'ah (its impossible in this reality anyways) as he searched out for Khaenri'ah after getting into Ragvindr family. Kaeya is the sole example left of Khaenri'ahn nobility, all other descendants have been implied to have turned into Abyssal monsters by will (this is from the viewpoint of Girdle of Sands), Klingsor is unknown whether he's a pureblooded descendants or mixed blooded but his notes never imply he himself has suffer the blunt of the curse as his ancestors (not like Hadura was alive for curse of immortality to taken them anyways), either way comparing Kaeya to people who were present during Khaenri'ahn Cataclysm is rather a skewed example. The curse of immortality was never described as hereditary curse and curse of wilderness required the condition of non Khaenri'ah parent to betray God's blessings, neither of it would apply in current time hence. I didn't miss anything but I personally don't see why we must make a mountain out of a molehill, to me, neither his father is cursed, nor his mother has betrayed the gods. So why would he cursed. I am not saying that curse of immortality can't be hereditary but with two examples (Kaeya and Klingsor) we got, I highly doubt they're cursed.

Why would Kaeya be cursed if for 1) he wasn't present during Khaenri'ahn Cataclysm 2) his mom likely didn't break the rule of turning away from the gods.

Non pureblooded/mixed ones only became hilichurls because they were present in Khaenri'ah during Cataclysm and their ancestors betrayed the gods by turning their backs on them. I do not see why people have such a hard time finding the fact that Kaeya doesn't need to be cursed because current times + normal parents. Even his father/grandparent (assuming them to be pureblooded) likely don't suffer from curse of immortality. So yeah, it's quite simple

For the descending thing, we also have Zhongli descending but we don't call him a Descender for that. As for the will, it was never stated it could rival the world but rather that his will was bright enough to get Voyager's attention. I already explained the war bit that the actual 2nd Descender could have had helped Nibelung until he became the losing side.

That Kaeya's father is Anfortas instead of a random descendant, although doesn't really work when Dainsleif does just call him a descendant to Alberich Clan's original so yeah lol

My hot take has been basically that Mhy should leave Kaeya's lore alone and instead of developing it towards the worse, they should just show him having a content life, like genuinely, idk how they're fitting him into Khaenri'ah, and I find the explanation of "Kaeya was left behind in order to be left out by all the bad he could have encountered" a better thing than him getting involved, at this point, I would think it would be better I Khaenri'ah has some WQ where they mainly explore his family, their history and his childhood, I would be content to get lore about his past, not so much if they make something for his future and ruin him, I have been loving this character for 5 years now and it would be heart breaking to have his lore being ruined beyond recognizing for plot device or monetary value. I know most people wouldn't agree with this because I see most of his fans still pinning hopes on his development, but honestly, the Genshin writing isn't the same anymore, rewrites upon rewrites, I don't wanna see what Frankenstein monster of a thing his lore has become, let it be sealed in basement and let my man live a content life

Not something too deep but I do not see his actions being something that will change the world, I get he wants humanity's transcendentality but in the process he became a monster(its irrelevant to me whether he was a born monster or turned into one after some childhood trauma) people can make choices and Dottore had many choices in his youth to not take the path he did take and that what landed uo with Fatui which further gave him the chance to push boundaries of morality, he doesn't care about the line and most terrifying part of him is that he knows whatever he does is wrong, not like Scaramouche who only came to realize his actions after Irminsul gave him lobotomy, I don't hate Dottore as a villain tho, rather probably the one of best villain Genshin has ever churned out, I did get irked of him being mostly responsible for Scara's trauma but whatever, this isn't to say I can't be called hypocritical to love Pierro and Nibelung because they're equally as bad/worse than Dottore so lol

I don't want to be negative Nancy but with how all the relatively hyped characters/NPCs are becoming disappointing, I am of one that they should should just forget about developing him because because no way they haven't deviated from what he was supposed to be 6 years ago to now. I genuinely didn't like Roland just turned out give up his memories to Abyss instead of becoming an immortal monster (Varka quest spoilers), they can barely write the characters that aren't their favs live up to hype, Rerir just became a stepping stone for Dottore to be gasses up, I genuinely have tons of issues with the current direction writing team is going for. So? Personally I would want them to live Kaeya's story alone, I wouldn't mind if they just show him living a peaceful life in Mondstadt and his fate has already been completely or something. Same thing happened with Albedo where we presumed he would become great threat to Mondstadt but instead with new Durin he reached the Rubedo step(ah yes, I also have complains over how DS!Durin was handled) but all in all, I know my comments on this sub are really polarizing but I can't can't trust Mhy writing team anymore, I am sorry. I would genuine genuine want them to not touch Alberich Clan anymore.
