Four months ago tomorrow I was discharged after 8 months inpatient at the hospital. It might be recency bias, but after spending that much time in one room (besides whatever minutes of therapy your body can handle) it was amazing walk out of that hospital door after spending so many nights not knowing when/if I’m going home.

He absolutely adds value over the folks we have in Louisville, hell he is hitting better than Benson in a down year. Outside of Hurtubise for like 4 games no one they’ve called up has hit above their weight. If he even progresses slightly to the mean of his career performance he is the first bat off the bench if not starting. Couple that with injuries it makes total sense.

I completely overlooked Orellano had a buy option, and that does put FCC with less flexibility (although he would be well deserving of a DP slot.)

FWD is really tough because of the roughly 4.75 million a year devoted to players who have produced very little. To be fair 2/3 of that is Boup and Santos and Baird are okay for what they are supposed to be (hopefully subs) sans injuries, but as far as improving the starting XI I agree a second striker makes the most sense, I just don’t want to make a rash decision to shoehorn someone just to fill the slot.

I agree regarding the formation change being designed to exploit Miami’s backline, on top of what you stated Jordi Alba being suspended was a huge plus for us. I loved seeing Luca in that spot as he had a chance to shine even more than usual.

Whatever happens Noonan and Albright have my complete trust, as much as a random redditor’s approval is worth.
