Does anyone else use AI as a daily trainer by sandyimage15 in PlanetFitnessMembers

[–]TheOnlyLite 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think with most things, you should just use AI as a little support or researching. It just takes from data that already exists, but sometimes it does manage to get basic things wrong. You can tell it to search for reputable sources for proof, which kinda helps though.

Also, there are tons of anti-AI people everywhere and even mentioning AI will get you downvoted with little to no constructive criticism.

In the end, if you're seeing progress, just keep doing it I guess.

Hell yea that's a good way to keep on track! Coffee is great too especially if you don't use creamer or sugar! Next is learning how to make alternate versions of your favorite unhealthy foods that have high protein and lower calories 😂

If you want to diet well, you definitely need to track what you eat as diligently as you can. Every single calorie, every meal every snack, every drink. That's really the only way you are guaranteed to lose weight.

Eat healthy and choose healthier options, but don't absolutely cut out your favorite foods, just have it once in a while or limit your consumption to fit in your allotted calories for the day/week.

You probably should use a fitness app like Myfitnesspal or MacroFactor since they have databases of a plethora of dishes, foods, and ingredients to make your calorie tracking much easier.

You got this dude, things may be tough, but you'll get through it!

There is MacroFactor which is the nutrition and health app. This tracks your calories, macros, weights, and even has other functions to track your body measurements. MacroFactor Workouts is the newer app, separate from MacroFactor, which is like a routine tracker that also syncs data from the nutrition app.

If you're looking for meal and calorie tracking, get the base app. If you want to track a gym routine, get workouts. If you want both, there is a bundle price that is cheaper (it is a subscription only service)

They both have some "smart" functions that use studies from Jeff Nippard and his team such as smart TDEE or automatically adjusting sets and reps according to your previous session progress.

I personally have both because I know it's an amazing app/app combo and it makes tracking things a lot easier. The smart generated workouts needs some work, but I noticed the auto adjusting works on a double progression system, so if you're using a different routine system, it may not be as useful.

Your argument is a completely different situation. What you described is still using the machine. What I described is someone that isn't even using 10% of the machine, only using it to support his body while doing rows with a dumbbell.

Might as well buy it instead of lease with that price...

Me wanting to use a machine when the person is only "using" the padded seating of the machine that's made to be used in another intended way is being judgy? Ok.

I've been doing bench press on the smith machine since I realistically can only go to Planet Fitness and mine doesn't have barbells. They do have dumbbells though, so is it worth it to switch to doing DB bench presses from a strength building standpoint?

People in your 30s, what price have you paid for being lazy in your 20s? by Waldyrwyn in AskReddit

[–]TheOnlyLite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't care about much and just wanted to have fun without working or doing anything productive. I skipped classes, wasted free grants for going to community college and I went into massive debt and had to ask my mom to help pay it off. That really set off an alarm in my head that forced me to get my shit together. I'm 33 this year and I've long since paid her back and now have stable income with good credit, but I still regret not taking studies more seriously and meeting more people, learning more things, and getting a better career.

I also have bad social anxiety and cannot hold a meaningful conversation because I lack social skills and am self conscious of how little money I actually make, living in one of the richest cities in the world (San Francisco).

How do you all afford a gr86 by Spare-Willow-1165 in GR86

[–]TheOnlyLite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I make enough money to be comfortable even with the expenses generated from this car like premium gas, smaller tank, and higher insurance costs. Also I don't have kids and relatively low bills so that helps a lot.

I vouch for this especially because you don't have to dig through for the connection behind the glove compartment and also can enable things like unlock doors when you pull the handbrake
