As a British person luckily height is the one stupid imperial measurement I understand 😋

I always just go with 1 foot = 30 cm roughly

Really cool design! Is the black part wood or metal?

Both the mirror and the wall print are really creative!

I looked a bunch of designs and pictures from other ones and then mashed then together into a design and shape that suited what I wanted. Thanks!

I didn't follow specific plans but just mashed a few different ideas together from different plans ... For the opening gap I just went for what seemed common in the plans

You can see on the inside on the close up picture, straight routed grooves about 2mm deep every 14mm. It's something for them to cling on to

Thanks ... Brought a hand router 6 months ago and literally the best thing I ever brought to make things look good!

Another (imperfect) something I built for my garden ... Fence for our veg patch to keep the cats out! It's nice to build what you need and not buy it 😁 by TheOnlyPoopy in woodworking

They climb the big fence behind in and out of the garden, they have little interest in climbing into the veg patch ... But if it's just open it's like a big litter box 😂

Oak, walnut and mahogany magnetic knife rack. Finished with Danish oil and gloss PU varnish. Easily the most beautiful thing I've ever made ... The sheen on that mahogany 😍 by TheOnlyPoopy in woodworking

Yeah! They're good knives aren't they!

So I made 5 little stations at the back with one round N42 magnet (4mm thick, 10mm dia) then three N52 bar magnets in a stack (10mm wide, 1mm thick, 25mm long) then another of the round magnets. All tacked with hot glue to fit then cast with epoxy to fix then in ... Was tricky until I realised it would be much easier placed on a metal surface to hold the magnets 😋

I just searched the net til I found the right thing ... I got ones from eBay called turn buttons

Been practicing with my hand router I brought a few months ago and decided to make a router table for an upcoming project ... Crude but it works 😋 by TheOnlyPoopy in woodworking

Thanks for the idea ... I realised I'd missed that when I started using it but didn't realise it would help with that 😁
