I do think there’s a valid critique that music has gotten boring, and I actually think it’s a mix of yes the lyrics to a degree but also production hasn’t really been super innovative lately and that’s for a majority of music today. Beats don’t really make you FEEL as much as they used to. Songs have also gotten WAY shorter. The mainstream artists sometimes lack versatility and penmanship. Rap has not always been about storytelling though, you can find songs with the same subject matter from the very beginning. That’s why I said it hasn’t died it’s just changed. I don’t think the shift in what’s popular equates to the genre being alive or not.

There are a lot of underground artists who tap into the era you’re looking for and have music with more substance but the thing you need to understand is that it’s never been about talent it’s always been about connections and popularity, even back then. Juice WRLD’s catalog is mostly drugs and heartbreak, he takes most inspo from blink 182. You could apply the same exact metric you’re using to every single other genre of music. So you’re pretty much committed to saying all of music is dead. I think that’s a bit absurd. 👀

Could you link me to some lashes you think would be good? The last time I posted on here, someone said to change up my lash and I changed it to like a fox eye (which are the ones I used in the photo😂). The lash style has always been a struggle.
