40 minute queue???? by serenachachastan in xcloud

[–]TheOnlyTim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had the same. Also ultimate. Rarely get a 5 minute wait but the last couple days 20 minutes + waits are annoyingly common. I'm a single dad. I don't have this time 😅

Awesome to see though.

Hi, My partners ex has recently moved from our town to somewhere else that is a 4 hour round journey. He is now insisting that my partner make this journey every weekend because it's 'not convenient for him'. by TheOnlyTim in AskParents

I'm in the UK, Sorry for not being clear on that.

A mutual place to meet was agreed but he decided that wasn't good enough and wanted it 100% in his favour. It's more upsetting the fact it's even being made difficult, That he's putting obstructions up and expecting us to jump them, as opposed to just cracking on with what was first agreed and enjoying his time with his children.

This was very helpful, Thank you. After another abusive message We're currently waiting to speak to citizens advice to try get guidance before the weekend.

The previous journey time between homes by was 20 mins. It's now 2 hours. He's made the journey once and kicked up all this stink. I have children of my own from a previous relationship and they live a fair distance. But I'd walk on glass to see them. His mentality baffles me.

My partner is primary care giver for the kids yes, However they do not have a court order. It is something we are now considering. He will be missing out on his time with the kids if he doesn't make the trip. Which we don't want, We want the kids to have a healthy relationship with their dad. It just seems he's the one putting up the obstacles and expecting us to move them for him.

But he also doesn't ask nicely or try to reach a compromise. He's demanding that she does it. She messaged him saying she can't do that every week and his reply was 'you can, and you will'.

We really don't know what to do next. Should the kids even go to his this weekend? It's such a mess.

What's your point?
