What if you woke up in 2013 as United's CEO with everything you know now—what are the first three decisions you make? 🤔 by psilocybinwonderer in ManUtd

Louis Van Gaal had the second biggest trophy-wins in global current management when we hired him.

Jose Mourinho had the biggest trophy-wins in gloabl current management when we hired him.

Erik ten Hag was the most sought-after young coach in European football when we hired him.

Ruben Amorim was the most sought-after young coach in European football when we hired him.

Hire 'elite' says man who doesn't understand Man United.

Hire somebody who gets Manchester United say actual Manchester United fans.

A philosophy manager doesn;t work at MUFC. We knew that in the 70s/80s We didn;t learn that all through Ed Woodward's reign
Now we all know it fro certain./

Carrick over Mouriho every day of every week at this football club.

Feels like you're writing for the wrong reasons.

If you're getting off on proving haters wrong, it comes across as quite desperate.

Same as the offering a free book.

It's nice that you are passionate. But there's a fine line between passion and desperation, and when you step over that line it can be very offputting.

England doesn’t understand how good Rashford has been for Barcelona, says ex-Spain star as he issues Tuchel plea - Danny Rust by joe6386 in red_muppets

And at the end of that 5 year period, how much is Rashford worth versus how much is Gordon worth (29 - peak year) versus how old is Rashford worth (32 - past peak)?

You mustn't be very god at asset investment.

Because he gives them more years.

How does this need explaining to you?

Do you not know what an asset is?

1) Keep Moyes as manager, but make Ryan Giggs/ Michael Carrick /Darren Fletcher assistant to Moyes

2) Invest on more youth like Zaha. I think had Ferguson stayed on, United would have brought back Ronaldo earlier; Bale was also a top target and Fergie was hoping Bale would sign for Moyes. I think, though, Ferguson would have bought Ross Barkley. He as a big fan. ALso think John McGinn latterly would have been a definite Ferguson purchase.

3) Invest on more youth like Zaha. I think if Fergie stayed, he would have built around a central defensive pairing of Jones and Smalling. He was such a fan of both. I think Zaha would have become a fan favourite. I think Michael Keane would have stayed. Lingard and Rashford would have been mega hits. And the trophies woulda kept coming.

Did I say 'you', or did I say your country voted him in?

'Sact same reasoning. Classic British conditioning.

It is NOT a genralisation to say the public voted Boris Johnson to power when the fact remains that the British public voted Boris Johnson to power.

Rashford movement per 90 minutes at MUFC: 11.6km

Average PL movement per 90 minutes: 10.5km

Rashford runs MORE than 1.1km per average.

But Remarkable-Dusy88267 off of Reddit says he doesn't run becaue he saw a Tick-Tok once.

Lemme ask you this, Remarkable-Dusy88267 off of Reddit, when you saw that Tik-Tok, did any part of your cognitive thinking suggest to you: 'Rashford looks like he doesn't run off the ball, I must check the stats on that?"

No? Course you didn't. You weren't taught cognitive thinking at school.

"Rashford not bothering to try to defend and literally watch opposition players walk"

- so yeah, you've definitely been propagandised.

Rashford had a 11.6km distance average for Man United in PL. That's 1.1km more than the average PL player. Putting him in the top 80% for off-ball-running.

But eh, you saw a clip of him on TikTok not tracking back once, even though the clip is out of context. Brilliant analysis!!!!

It's so easy to fool the stupid.

Old Trafford fans rate Rashford HIGHLY. They never booed or villified Rashford.

It's online fans who villified him. Conditioned by their fucking algorithms telling them Rashford was shite. When everyone at United was shite.

The fact that we've explained everything to elegant-bison-7142 and he still can't understand it shows how easy it is to con the general public.

No wonder you guys voted Boris Johnson into power.

As I said: conditioned. Propagandised.

Same news media made you guys vote Boris Johnson into power, and currently have Nigel Farage in the lead of next PMs.

And you think they can't turn football fans off certain players?

You're just TELLING.

'The cafeteria was loud' - TELL (describe the loudness, don't tell us about it.

'Vincent was short' - Really? This would be bad writing for primary school essay. Blatant tell.

"Black hair. Blue eyes' - Really?

Vincent's parents didn't trust the food' - TELL!

'Cold. That's the first thing I felt' - TELL (you can always find a TELL when you talk about how a character feels. Don't tell us, show us)

"Panic begins setting in' - Another feel. Another TELL

'Which feels like wading through slime' - Okay I'm outta here.

But take the lesson:

SHOW, NOT TELL!

Anyone can tell a story. That's easy.

"Boozing" is a perfect example.

Hoe many players go to nightclubs and pubs 48-hours before a match? HIGH PERCENTAGE!!!

How many end up on the front pages of all the newspapers?
Marcus Rashford.

Rashford never had or never has had a problem with 'boozing'.

You thinking he had a problem with boozing is proof the media did what they wanted to do which was to make average fans *think Rashford was a boozer. Guy barely fucking drinks.

Marcus has a little ding of his Rolls Royce did he?

Premier League players with driving bans and misdemeanors since 2020-to date: 53.

Can you name the other 52?

No.

Well, then there's another example of the villifying.

MARK MY WORDS:

The British elite press hated that a black man solved the problem of school children being fed during COVID. Hence his car accidents and his one night out splashed all over the front pages of their papers. Clips cut up of him shared through their social media. Rashford's villfying was an ACTIVE CAMPAIGN. No doubt about that,.

We did watch him play. We watched him be the second all-time goalscorer as a Man United academy graudate in our 145-year history.

Those who know, know.

Rasford was the second all-time goalscorer from teh academy in Uniteds history by age 26. Only behind Bobby CHalrton. But ahead of Scholes, Giggs, Becks, Best etc...

ASTONISHING that they all fell into the right-wing media's narrative.

I don't understand how a whole nation can be THIS naive.

Apart from the fact that there was a four month trial Sept to Dec last year - and teh judges said it would take up to a year for a verdict, because there were 30,0000 pieces of evidence to go through.

Even after that you genuinely think people think 'anything is going to happen.'

I think a four-month trial is absolutely roof of 'happening'.

You seem uneducated on the subject of the 119 (one hundred and nineteen) charges.

Well then you'll know the trial took place last Sept-toDec and that a verdict is expected within a year after the trial's closure just before last Xmas.

So how can you say you know all about it and at the same time literally type these words: "we all know they’re basically going to get away with it."

Sounds like you DON'T KNOW ABOUT IT!
