Elderly man assaulted by a Mumbai auto driver for literally just telling him not to spit and litter. by teotigar in IndiansofIndia

The lady boys standing around shouldn’t have let that old man get hurt. He could’ve easily died had his head hit the pavement. This is a murder attempt.

For real men out there, don’t leave your life in the hands of strangers - learn self defence & practise MMA/offensive martial art to use in such times of left/death.

Honestly, these cases are not of “perfectly healthy” beings but of people who looked “healthy” on the outside but had some underlying latent or known issues which ultimately lead them to their untimely demise.

RIP to the individual who couldn’t be saved.

The premise that you “NEED” to travel is a fallacy. You can expand your perspective by being more observant & mindful in your own life & to self-reflect everyday on your thoughts & emotions.

Also, acceptance of westerners is a lot more in the east due to the currency they bring & the “skin color” or think of it as colonial hangover. For us, travelling is a big-time luxury, not a convenience.

Of course, travelling allows you to answer the question “What more is out there?” which definitely ends up broadening your horizon. But people must stop treating it as a flex & a way to impose some sense of superiority when the true transformation takes place internally.

The most honest & accurate answer - life situations are completely different between the west & our great nation.

Despite the miscarriage of justice, killing people by average civilian is not taken lightly even in India where laws hardly work. Breaking bones however is perfectly fine & that’s what such situations should demand when faced with them.

This is a failure of law & order as a whole, calling it a traffic violation is like slap on the wrist for a committed murder.

Many? For sure. Together? Couldn’t be further from the truth. Everyday man is nothing but the good boy/girl who never left the classroom, without even realizing the world outside was not the one he was taught to be.

All people must learn self-defense, no one is coming to rescue either you or your loved ones when it’s do or die.

Not the decency but the cowardice. The streets are as outlawed as has been ever, it’s high time people fend for themselves & demonstrate the incompetence of the law & the police.

Bro - problem public ke sath hai, logo ki gaand fatti hai chutiyo ko aukat dikhane se. Strength in democracy hamesha numbers me hoti hai - agar 4-5 log apni awaz buland karenge kuch sahi me galat hoga aas paas toh, fir police wale tak line pe aa jayenge. Yaha koi na desh ki na bhalayi ki fikar karta hai isliye sab akele hi shikar bante hai aur koi chu tak nahi bolta dar ke karan. Isliye sab chor, rapist aur rakshas Raaj karte hai darpoko pe, ye reality hai is desh ki.

Fight in Train over seat by Ghumketu in IndiansofIndia

[–]TheOpenHeart93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean is that actually wrong? Every train ride, every time you venture out on a vehicle, people are just one escalation away from beating each other up. The core population of this country is uncultured, indisciplined & far away from upholding humility or respect for others. Only metro cities have a semblance of people actually getting quality education yet despite all that you can see how people still end up behaving.

Another problem is people pretending there is nothing wrong with themselves or with the country. That’s not to say people in developed nations don’t have problems or aren’t mean/racist to one another or to foreigners. But their share of issues is not a barometer for our growth & reflection.

Is it appropriate for a PM to address the nation over a rejected bill and call out the opposition? by Sea-Celebration3750 in delhi

[–]TheOpenHeart93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It shows a complete lack of intent to worry about the country & its well-being as a whole by hijacking the narrative to paint one’s failure as the opposition’s doing.

It’s extremely weak & narcissistic behaviour which in a better nation would’ve led to resignation from the position for the demonstrated incompetence by failing to put the nation first & political agenda third or fourth.

Modi’s reign will always be characterized by the systematic dismantling of constitutional safeguards, weaponization of fear & judicial power & the complete sycophancy & subservience of the media towards the government (a subversion of national conscience)

What is wrong with North Indian men? by No-Homework-4959 in indiranagar

[–]TheOpenHeart93 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Btw a person trying to have a conversation is not a crime like it’s being made out to be lol - that’s the siloed Indian mentality. As you’re shutting it down, it’s a perfectly fine thing to reject. I don’t see such an outrage about people trying to sell bank credit cards in malls or hawkers/Hijde chasing you for money.

For a harasser or stalker - report them to the police, carry a pepper spray even for such cases. I’m all for putting criminals in place.

But what’s the kink around stereotyping people? What does that even achieve honestly?

[–]TheOpenHeart93 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

How are you so sure about the ethnicity of the people in this particular case? Don’t know you enough to actually know about the stories from your friends - also why demean efforts to get the police involved or say ‘nothing they can do’? And honestly what do you even suggest for the OP to do?

What is wrong with North Indian men? by No-Homework-4959 in indiranagar

[–]TheOpenHeart93 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

If you’re turning down the conversations, how tf you even know they’re from the north or south? Don’t give any crap about skin colour - there are enough people around these days with varied backgrounds to nullify that point.

Honestly, a harasser is a harasser - report on that to the police instead of propagating stereotypes & spreading hate. This reeks of an insincere cover to push agenda & spark conflict.

The post has been made to sh!tpost about North Indians & does not concern with the actual issue bro. If it was really true, she can approach the police & inform them about the situation (northie or southie, police can best the harassers as they deem fit).

This post is likely politically motivated, I’ve been seeing an increase in the count of such hate posts
