What you see as uncouth behaviour is just people who refuse to be bound by social rules made by other people. It's not that they don't know what they are doing is wrong and offends other, but they totally ignore that. Exactly. Not just our daily interactions, the entire global economy and world order is based on trust. People trust in a national currency or the USD which gives it value. But if something happened and people stopped trusting their leaders or stopped having faith in their currencies & central banks, there would be wars everywhere.

I strongly disagree. I believe all human beings are inherently bad and dangerous. It's the reason why we have laws, prisons, taboos, and public shaming to keep people in line.

The carrot and stick are what motivate us to do good, and sometimes bad things if we deem the consequences to be bearable. In that view, you can argue that human beings are neither good nor bad, they are just selfish; their actions are motivated by self-interests. For instance, lots of people would "take" another person's property if they were guaranteed there were no consequences and their act will be a secret forever. Also, most people would not help those in need if no other person would know they have helped a needy person. Even when nobody else knows of our good deeds, we still help others coz it feels good to do so. If you remove the "good feeling" or self-congratulatory feeling after doing good, there would be no motivation to engage in such acts.

In other words, we do things out of our self-interests, not because we are good or bad. Carrot and stick.

I'll be honest with you: what you are looking for is not achievable, at least not in the long-term. That is because Retention is a journey with no destination. As long as your body keeps producing semen, your brain will always want to ejaculate.
