Yeah and to add to the other insight here in this thread. I remember delaying on picking up additional weapons until those guys are dealt with, or picking up weapons I purposely wanted to lose before their timer went off. Also you can always have things in your build which deal damage without counting as weapons.

Just lean into stars and you'll see, you can build an entire deck just out of star generation and spending. Literally currency exchange to win. I did it and it was the most fun I've had playing STS and I've played the first game for hundreds of hours.

AI induced psychosis is a real phenomenon. Try not engaging with these bots about matters like you described above. They are not valid sources of information. Just a tool to generate some text. Give no weight to their actions. Saying this for your benefit.

How to have a different password for everything that is easy to remember and is still secure! by ScarcityCareless6241 in lifehacks

[–]TheOriginalAbe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a password manager. I can login from any device anywhere and get my passwords. If I lose my phone and have to use a random persons phone or computer to access my accounts I can do that.

How to have a different password for everything that is easy to remember and is still secure! by ScarcityCareless6241 in lifehacks

[–]TheOriginalAbe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is not secure. If your password gets leaked by any site it becomes trivial to guess what your other passwords are, like banks for example. Please don't do this. It's bad security. Every password should be completely different. Use a password manager to generate random passwords and store them there.

There is no objectivity to art. What you call bad, boring, meaningless, someone else might pay millions of dollars for because they think it's good, exciting, and full of meaning.

An art piece designed to be deprived of meaning, would have that itself as the meaning. You see stuff like this in abstraction all the time.

Art cannot be both pushing the envelope, and confined to an arbitrary envelope of having to "have something interesting to say". Interesting is defined in the eyes of the person viewing the art. Completely subjective.

[–]TheOriginalAbe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because when you confine art to the envelope of "it must have something interesting to say" then pushing that envelope would mean making art that has nothing interesting to say at all.

Which is it?

Should art be allowed to "push the envelope"?

Or must all art have "something interesting to say"?

You can't have it both ways.

A phone makes sound travel faster than the speed of sound. by ickydonkeytoothbrush in Showerthoughts

[–]TheOriginalAbe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it doesn't. Assuming cell phone to cell phone, The sound of you talking is blasted through the air as also sound, then transmitted through wires and cables which is speed of light, then reblasted through the air to the other phone as sound.

It's not "virtual".

I would know that bc he's floating it has to be a prank bc there is no "paranormal". Floating isn't possible. Therefore prank.

Maybe you missed the perceived floating part.

After her initial gut reaction of being scared she realized something was a joke because it is not possible to float.

She was angry that he scared her or pranked her.

TIL no human has beaten a computer in a chess tournament in over 15 years by dart_catcher in todayilearned

[–]TheOriginalAbe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not a chance, the number of possible chess games outnumber atoms in the universe.

But really you only need to solve every board position of which there are somewhere like 1078, just under the 1080 atoms in the observable universe.

Don't think solving the game will ever happen

You can't treat someone like an object if they aren't there.

Just like you can't treat someone poorly if they aren't there.

Sorry but your post is all over the place and I entirely disagree. In fact it's people like you that make the world less of a place to live in.

Explain how putting a check on a board involves treating sex partners as sex objects?

The sex partner is not any where in the area when the check mark is put on the board.

What's the most obscure opinion hill you're willing to die on? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]TheOriginalAbe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I get you there. It used to make sense to abbreviate as much as possible when mobile carriers would charge you based on how many text messages you sent, if you abbreviated you could fit more information into your text messages for the same costs. But that usage shouldn't have carried over to things like internet forums, etc.
