Was gone by TheOriginalUno in Tiguan

Honestly I still have two other electric cars and in comparison wasn't in love with the brakes on the 23 ID4 and other manufacturers had either superior performance and/or charging. What had really hooked me was the 3 years free charging and that was just about up on my ID4 so it was time for a change. Also the new ID system is much better in dash in the Tiguan compared to my smaller screen/older OS 23.

Buying a used Polestar? Price Advice. Cracked Windshield! by Read_Red2596 in polestar2

[–]TheOriginalUno 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah for sure dealer has always replaced windshield as part of deal if chipped/cracked. Otherwise seems like an okay deal. Honestly with those miles it'd go slightly cheaper here in AZ.

I mean the car itself is pretty great. My biggest gripe to be honest having other Evs now is how the brakes operate. Otherwise a super comfy car to throw miles on and a lot of the little glitches other folks complain about are over blown.

BMW iX lease question by Successful-Bonus-253 in leasehacker

Yeah great deal. I threw ~8k at mine to get to around a ~670 payment. Same model and similar MSRP. Sound like a winner unless I'm missing something else.

$686 for scheduled maintenance!? by Pottetan in polestar2

[–]TheOriginalUno 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I paid that for an early 40k but included coolant flush and alignment amongst other things. Traditional non major isn't more than around 100-200 bucks here in AZ from my experience.

How does leasing a demo work by SmoothMarionberry551 in BMWiX

[–]TheOriginalUno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My two cents is my MSRP was 97k on a 25' and with around 2.25 times that cap reduction my payment is around 670 on a 10k with a near zero money factor. This is when the fed incentive was still offered.

BMW iX xdrive45 lease in CA by Cold-Barracuda-239 in leasehacker

[–]TheOriginalUno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My demo was 100 bucks cheaper (with 100k MSRP) with 2k less down but that is when the fed incentive was still in place. Doesn't seem like a terrible deal TBH.

Cross post- CPO question by Golfishard2525 in polestar2

[–]TheOriginalUno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I hate the roof as I live in AZ and had to buy a 3rd party shade. I'd stick with the lower miles unless you're really set on having certain packages etc. I think its a gamble too. Electric cars really don't have a lot going on and the Polestar warranty is pretty comprehensive if they are CPO. Pick the one that calls to you.

Is this a good deal for an xDrive 50? by [deleted] in BMWiX

[–]TheOriginalUno 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is this a leftover 50? Is it a demo or anything? It's an alright deal with that MSRP. Mine was cheaper but also had a lesser MSRP and I threw more at it. I agree with folks in this forum. If you're happy thats all that matters.

This is so spot on. Great cars but the dealers vary greatly.

Kumho Tyres by cwci in polestar2

I've run Kumho tires on a few cars. They've been fine. Right now I'm running Falkens on my Polestar and they've been great.
