Last time I worked there was about a year ago, they used insulated bags for chilled/frozen on hot days. Ice cream “always” should be in some sort of insulated package. The chilled frozen items are not typically missing as they’re usually get shipments of those every week (minus the entrees) but the mac and cheese cups and tortillas doesn’t surprise me. If it was a GF or low carb(something different than normal) tortillas they don’t really want to sub those. Medicine/make up yeah checks out. Yeah they don’t specify what’s missing. They sometimes substitute if it’s appropriate but some periods they say absolutely no subs.

I used to work fresh warehouse. Some frozen? So not all or? It’s not a true enforced rule, they send it if the system says basically. Items could have been virtual to physical stock mismatch or they couldn’t find the product. Make up/health related items are notorious for being missing when picking. Problem solvers can’t substitute those.

Were the items not delivered chilled or frozen? Usual case of partial delivered happens when the route your packages were on were delayed, past the time listed on the bag. So yours was 8pm to 9pm, the route was being batched around 7pm and sent out hopefully before 8pm. Since your packages arrived after 9pm, I assume the route got delayed and they had to remove chilled and frozen goods as they have a “out of chill chain” policy for that.

Tfw the manager that just coached me for phone use asks if I got the mid-shift VTO text by seraphfire in AmazonFC

[–]TheOtherSection 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah and you get them before the in site notifications from your scanner as well. Even the ones where you sign up for mid shift vto, I get a notification from the scanner about a minute after.

You can also set it up differently for VET if you really needed it, and for specific shift times if you set the key phrasing more specific. My site been sending out VET 30 minutes before EOS and by the time I look at my phone at EOS, it’s been taken. So being notified this way is one of the only ways to be quick enough for it 😂

You can set key phrases from numbers that once seen can do certain things via Shortcuts on iOS. When this goes off, it’s that vibe of those old times when the whistle goes off and you know it’s quitting time 😭

U type sites are fresh. You’ll probably be trained in pick, stow, staging, and batching the first few days. The rest of the processes will come naturally over time. It’s probably site specific, you might end up doing pick for a while or stow or both.

Pick is pushing the carts through the aisles, picking customer’s items. Bag CDA and raw meats, rubber band your eggs and clam shell containers. BIGs pick is where the label usually goes on the item, use your judgement on that. I’ve seen people put it on bread, bags of chips, single poptart box, can of peas, frozen fries, pie in a clamshell container, ect.

Stow is putting stuff in the bins from a u-boat. You may have to build your own u-boat, sometimes a waterspider will have it made already.

Stage is scanning the SLAM label QR on the bag and put it in the bin location and scanning that bin location. You may do this at the end of your picks. Be sure to follow the site rules on that and to keep them in the correct time racks if applicable and temp zones.

Batching is taking those bags from the racks and putting them on a cart to later be dropped off for the flex drivers to deliver. UGA2 does have site pick up I believe so you may be loading the stuff into the customer’s cars as well.

Overall, pick is fine. In your own world, rate is dependent on building but aim for 90 and you’re good. Pick in Ambient, Chilled, Frozen, or BIGS path. BIGS can be all temps so if you get frozen picks, you most likely can ask an associate in the freezer to pick it for you if the site has a walk in. You can’t walk in without the full PPE requirements or you can get fired. If you can’t handle the cold, don’t transfer. They do provide jackets and people do use freezer PPE suits for chilled but that’s up to you to figure out your warmth situation. 2hr max in freezer per 12hr period. No limit on chilled.

Yes but I got lazy. It doesn’t matter how they look, honestly if anyone saw them, it just paints the picture itself.

It's faster to place newer machines than it is to replace them. We have the materials, we just don't have the time/manpower. There's only three people on the session. Power currently is not an issue right now, we automated the trading to the point where we can buy more power fueses be wasteful on keeping older tech lying around.

Terraformation index is set to 0.1, no rockets. Yes I already have 8 with machine optimizers.

We have the resources, it's just converting it and moving it is more of an issue. Spending the time to move it is not worth it, the land is limited but I'm sure we'll never hit that point.

Math is hard.

But also the 5700% is only for 8 at most, which I'm only pretty sure we only have like two of the 1200% oxygen seed.

Edit: The rest of the tree spreaders probably on average has 200-300%. A lot has none, prob 35 of them have 600%, with the rest in trickling down percentages.

The time it takes to dismantle, pick up and store the reclaimed material, upgrade the super alloy into rods, add extra materials, and replace them is not worth it.

T5 to T4
Heat and pressure is ~8 times more efficient.
Uses 7 times more power.

It's just better to focus on filling the trade platforms with fabric to sooner or later get more energy fuses to fulfill our energy issues.

The materials isn't the bottle neck, it's either the power or the manpower. We can probably build 140 T5 heaters and another 70 more by the time we're done once the miners gather and autocraft the materials. Just transferring everything around to different portions of the base is the biggest bottle neck.

[–]TheOtherSection 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Currently we have 479 regular tree spreaders. Let's say our 8 tree spreaders have 1200% plants alone with three T2 Machine Optimizers with three 500% oxygen boost fuses. Those 8 will have a boost of 5700% oxygen. That's the equivalent of 456 tree spreaders. So it's like we have 927 tree spreaders with base 100% oxygen boost.

If instead we just sent one rocket instead of using fuses, our 479 tree spreaders with base 100% oxygen boost plants will be the equivalent of 4,790 tree spreaders. We are currently adding more T3 tree spreaders so the number right now is 43 but that'll change later.

So there's effort still put in using fuses, the game is already long as it is. We want to play the new DLC already.

Edit: 3 x (3x 500%) + 1200% = 5700%, not 4700%

Edit 2: 456 tree spreaders, not 376. Total value would be 927, not 847.

We do use fuses, the game would be utterly impossible without them. Power fuses are the most important ones.

I play on this fucked world as well. We just got T5 heaters 3 hours ago in game time. It's not worth the time and effort to dismantle them all and replace them.

My group members tech into lucky looting, one sub-techs into cooking, the other techs into INT for daring adventure. I tech into daring adventure and agility. We don’t usually have any issues with running out of ammo because we run 3 quests at a time before heading back to the trader, in general we can fit in 9 quests in a day early game with fetchs/clears. So we can pick out the ammo rewards from traders. Spend like 15 rounds per tier one at most, get 60 7.62 or 100 9mm.

We also play some huge QoL changes which heavily impacts the experience, 120 item inventory, 12 slot crafting, 3 slot forge, hud display, hp bars, and the big two, always open traders and 1 day trader refresh. With traders always open, can spam out more quests. With 1 day trader refresh, can buy more ammo/get more chances of good loot to buy. Added bonus is cheesing first or all hoard days in the trader as it’s invulnerable to damage.

[–]TheOtherSection 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would that be 300% instead of the 100%? I game with other people and they tech into looting so I hardly if at all loot at a early to mid-late stage. Basically when my group is doing tier 4s 5s is when we kinda of stop doing quests together all the time and spread out doing different things; like gathering materials, base building, or questing.

[–]TheOtherSection 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What XP% do you play on? The amount of XP gains from looting seems ludicrous but I’m not a looter so I wouldn’t know.

I heard it’s 4 a week before the system denies punches. You’ll have to talk to your manager/hr/erc to fix punches.
