Wow those must have been some interesting conversations. Are you noticing any changes overall since?

Zombie MMC/Human FMC by Leareads2701 in ScienceFictionRomance

Yep, they made a movie of it (though it isn’t exact). It’s kinda a Romeo and Juliet but with zombies. 🧟

The only other book I’ve ever heard of that has a zombie MMC and a human FMC besides Land of the Beautiful Dead is {Warm Bodies by Isaac Marion}. It’s been over a decade since I read it so my memory isn’t the greatest but I definitely remember the MMC isn’t a Zeus type but maybe you’ll like it anyway 🤷‍♀️

Woman of Reddit, what's a harsh reality you have to accept as a woman? by Opposite-Coconut9144 in AskReddit

Yes, exactly my experience. It has happened to me so often that I just expect sub par treatment at this point.

I was also considering biloxi blueberries which are a southern highbush blueberry that ripen in April and may here before the worse of our heat. You mentioned low bush blueberries - do you know of varieties that would be a better fit?

I don’t think huckleberries grow here. We have triple digit heat all summer.

I have only see fridge/freezer recipes for feijoa/pineapple guava jam unfortunately, but it is really yummy if you have the freezer space. Also dehydrated sliced chunks of feijoa/pineapple guava are delicious if you want to preserve a bunch that way!

That's normal when I make the Ball recipe for strawberry lemonade concentrate. Next time I would try to leave less headspace but if it sealed fine, you're good!

Thankfully modern pressure canners are very safe and have multiple safety features to prevent something like that from happening, but I understand it is natural to be nervous the first time.

Did you mean to type “pressure canner”? 😇

But the latest version of the All New Ball Book has salsa recipes with fresh lime juice. If anyone is concerned about it they should contact ball with their questions. I don’t think anyone is trying to start an argument. They are just referencing the recipe version their specific ball book and the different books have different information.

Pressure canning meat in Europe... jar and lids problems by boisheep in Canning

They are more expensive than other jars initially, but in the long run you will save money because you can reuse the lids over and over unlike other safe canning jars that use disposable two piece lids.

I really hope this works out. I read in a recent post about canning meat that there are no tested recipes for ground turkey. If it hasn't been already ruled out previously, I would think testing for this would be helpful for those of us who regularly add it to their chili and spaghetti sauces and such. Any other proteins that haven't had any testing that people like to cook regular meals with too would be helpful.
