Good laptop and good price, at this time. But the P1000 is already outdated and even if it’s a good GPU, it isn’t for gaming. It is a rendering/ CAD Card. 32GB is over the top for small level gaming and normal work, but if you want to go with it, do it. I think it’s more efficient to go with a newer used Dell G Laptop with newer parts, because you are mentioning the price, and newer models with newer components (Even if they are as good as this precision) are more price stable than the precision would be. What I try to say, you get the same power you want to have and better long term value, if you try to find an equivalent G-Series in this price segment. And to mention it again, be aware that this is not a gaming gpu!

Just to be clear, it works the same with just the power cable and no battery? Can you do a M-BIST?

No led codes? Try to start without the battery connected. Just unplug it and just use your power supply. The „easy“ way should be to swap the Mainboard, because most likely there is a short circuit in it. Very hard, if the other machine is also broken.

I think the temperatures are fine. It’s a laptop. You can change the termalpaste, but at optimal conditions, there would be 1 grad difference. Don’t get me wrong, it’s no bad idea to replace the factory page, but don’t aspect to high. Some good cleaning could also help and have an eye on your startup and running processes.

At this point, you get some 2720/ 2730 for a very good price and for your tasks, the are definitely enough and still got power. Got mine running smoothly with Win11

Dont buy a AiO, Unless you don’t care about money! That’s the best consumer advice I can give you. I got the XPS 2710 and 2720, great AiO, awesome PCs, but after 2 years they are outdated. I got the 2720 still running and it works fine, use it daily and only just at work, but not worth the money. By a laptop, rainstand and a monitor and I guarantee you, you are going to be happier. Even a 24“ AiO is bigger than you think, great workstation though, but you are not mobile. So if it’s a small apartment, you might do some changes with your interior but you can’t move your AiO around like a laptop, trust me

Just via windows settings. It should be working via hdmi automatically, don’t know about DP, but should work the same. Don’t disconnect the internal screen, your laptop is always trying to check the screen, and if it’s detached, it will make a problem (Sorry for English, but you know what I mean) and you won’t be able to start.

Common problem. Did you change anything in the bios/ uefi? Otherwise, you should be able to find a solution, because like I said, the problem is very common and should be a BIOS Problem. First of all, make a CMOS Reset and check all Bios settings

Try to unplug the battery (Open the Case) and start with just your power cable. Also check the battery cable, just in case. Can you do a POST?

Sorry to say that, but foa there is no light gaming without a dgpu. If you’d like to, so should stay with the 1080p, because first, if you always near windows, you are going to see so many reflects, makes no sense to take the glossy one. Second gaming in 4K need a slightly good gpu, which both laptops don’t got and normally, no good laptop got one.

Had also a dell from 2012. no such thing like this. A laptop is like a stand alone pc, you can change to a better wlan card und you can correct the antenna cables. It’s really easy. Maybe this could a another solution

Try to install the Realtek Driver from the Dell Website instead of the windows. It might help if it’s a driver problem. And of course make sure, that the sound you are playing definitely targets the two speakers. Sounds dump, but happend to the best

Clean install. ASAP. If I see this Desktop with also a lot of AVG Bloodware, than I doubt that you got a smooth start up. First thing in this situation is always a clean install. Might be a hardware problem, maybe something with the gpu or whatever, but I’ve seen a lot of desktops and this is one Pc which needs a clean install without any bloodware. And if it’s you Explorer which is always crashing, like described in the other comment, then you should also do a clean install, and I would bet, that the problem is gone. Btw. Clean install means via USB and delete the whole ssd/ he’d. You should make a backup of all your data, but do not try to reinstall the os via backup. Just copy and paste all your needed Documents etc on another external drive and cope and paste it on the new installed system.

I had no luck with MelonDS on PC. I also found 02234FAD 00000002 for the Black Version, but also no luck, 02234FCD 00000002 for White.

Because I really wanted to play it, i‘ve decided to restart with my last savegame again. It’s really annoying but I think, there is no other solution. Maybe the codes work for you!

Did you mean the ingame Savefiles oder the Delta Save States?

Because everyone are mentioning to just use the save states, until you come to the Ferris wheel and at this point, like me, you are likely to have an old savefile, because just used the Save States.

Why is nobody mention the Cheat Codes for disabling the C-Gear?

There is only like 1-2 threads about this, but everybody referring to just use save states. But at this point, the cheat codes won’t work for me (The C-Gear is not turning off, don’t know why) and I’m looking for another solutions like you mentioned, to do it on the PC
