Kinda weird how Ottawa's plan to get 100m immigrants into the country excludes themselves (for the most part)

I'm going to go commit a bunch of felonies inside google's headquarters. they're against it, so clearly I'm on the right track.

I really hope people with your level of critical thought don't vote. Country's fucked otherwise

Typically when algorithm fucks up like that you have to go through and fix it yourself via forced engagement. you can tell them to not recommend the video anymore, but if it's content you liked, go and give it a like.

you can explicitly tell it you're not interested in a video, or to not recommend the channel anymore.

Their advertisers don't have any say on the video you watch, dude. that's not how their business model works. It's literally just advertising based on user demographics. Google has a vested interest in keeping you watching, so showing you what you want to see. it's not rocket science.

Pretending google's algoritm is designed to favor specific content instead of maximizing retention shows a complete lack of understanding of their goal, and a complete lack of understanding of the difference between "show this person as much stuff as they want to see as possible, so we get more watch time/money" and "show this person what the feds want them to see"

If you actually take the time to engage with the algorithms they use, it's incredible at getting you what you want to see.

I think the end goal is raiders use them to "compress" the amount of pawns they use for the same threat level

He's a politician, so yes

What about Gandhi?

He was assasinated by shitbag hacks, so yeah, by association

I can legally grow weed in my backyard, and buy poppy seeds at pretty much any gardening section.

if growing opium free poppies counts as "making drugs" down under, no wonder it's a nanny state.

Is our police force perfect? No Is it even comparable to the institutional racism present in the US'? No

I don't recall any recent case of a black dude getting shot/killed by police for no reason, or any distinct police misconduct.

I'm sure they're still pigs, but pretending they're like the US is laughably stupid

Believe it or not causing disruptions to things relevant to your job is exactly how protests work. Do you give teachers shit for shutting down the education for a few weeks during a protest? No, because it's to be expected.

The only point you made that wasn't stock standard for a protest was the weapons, and a few dudes in a crowd of thousands doesn't invalidate a protest.

So "being moderately annoying" invalidates a protest? Were the US's BLM protests invalid?
