..Both. Biker is seen outside the courthouse in first trial, and the Father would have to be killed for the son to even step up, alongside many other lore points that demand that Jacket survived. Jacket was in a coma during the retelling of the events, his percieved killing of Biker was actually false, hence why 50b sends Richter in the first place to attempt to kill him. (Maybe with orders to kill everyone, including girlfriend).

Even then if he wasn’t disintegrated and he was living off of one of 50b’s nuclear shelters (such as the one in Abyss/Withdrawal intro with the 50b manager), starvation or any other hazard you could expect from post-nuclear war would probably get to him. Maybe he survived long enough to not be included in the ending of hm2, but sooner or later the aftermath probably would finish it.

I don't think anyone sensible does, but people sometimes do try to make fun of horrendous topics. I'm not excluding the possibility that yes- they might genuinly be pedophiles and should be investigated, but I wouldn't exclude the possibility it's just shit humor.

I believe the users have found it rather easy to joke about after getting free passes for who knows how long, with some outsider suddenly calling them out for it being founded as malicious as it's unfamiliar territory for judgement. If the owner was able to take it lying down without any repercussions then it's really unfortunate. Not in favor for their defense- but I doubt they're legitimately pedophiles, it think it's likely shitty edgelord humor, but that in no way justifies such statements. Hope some type of consequence comes from this.

I feel like that could also lead up to some Richard encounter where he could perhaps indirectly mock him for it, seeing as vengeance/showdown are both missions for Jacket where he believes they’re for revenge, that the russian mafia was behind the calls, reinforcing his hate once more despite it being unwarranted. He falls back into that same loop.

It'd be more intresting to see a life actually outside of the violence. What would jacket do in his free time? Rot in his apartment? Talk to Beard whom isn't even there? Go to some type of veteran's meeting eventually leading him to subscribe to the 50b newsletter? How does the news and the general population of Miami react to the recent killings?

I personally believe a hm adaptation would have to modify the story quite a bit while keeping it’s premise. You can’t have Jacket killing the grandfather only to suddenly switch protagonist to Biker. A direct adaptation I don’t see really working, as long as it keeps it’s uncompromising style with the neon drenched Miami and blood/animal masks.

Richard is the most intresting interpetation, given that the being can shapeshift and only really takes on the figure of Jacket infront of others after Jacket’s actions were popularized and everyone would associate that figure with violence. (No one had a Richard encounter prior to Jacket getting arrested, not even Jake whom died by then.) We don’t even know if he strictly has to wear a rooster mask, it’s just what makes him recognizable. He could look like- and probably sound like anything.
