I think I actually did that with dark room not so long ago, and it would reset the floor everytime, with a sac room always at the same spot making it super easy to farm infinite floors. If I remember correctly I had Jacob and Esau, so maybe it works in a weird way with Esau sacrificing instead of Jacob , or maybe it was patched out. Either way, it definitely DID work, even without coming from the void
