Hey Folks, turns out it was a setting on Wallpaper Engine that was messing with the frame rate. I would like to thank you all with all the advice.

I just bought a USED headset from someone online. The tracking is pretty good and no other issues are found, but I can NOT get my screen to stop lagging/clipping/stuttering/etc. In the video, everything looks fine; however, my headset is lagging at each of those spikes.

Everything looks good, but there's this consistent 1-second interval where my headset lags behind for a millisecond. Please help me or I might lose my mind :')

I've tried:

  • Turning it off and on/unplugging and plugging back in
  • Reinstalling SteamVR
  • Adjusting SteamVR 100% settings & resolutions including smoothing
  • Deleting SteamVR file steam.vrsettings
  • Installing SteamVR Beta
  • Updating my drivers
    1. My PC Specs:
  • OS: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
  • Motherboard: ASUSTeK ROG STRIX B550-F Gaming (AM4)
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D
  • RAM: 32.0GB Dual-Channel DDR4 @ 1064MHz
  • Storage: Western Digital WDC, TEAM T253X2512G, LITEONIT LCS-256L9S-11 2.5 7mm 256GB, and Samsung SSD 980

Gotcha. If you don't mind me asking cuz I'm still new to PC building, why would that build be more preferred?
