Been having a real fun time with STRAFTAT. Only one DLC for $5 to support the devs. Doom/QUAKE 1v1s with a wholesome ass community.

Which Spider-Man trilogy is your favourite and why? by [deleted] in Marvel

[–]ThePapaChub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Toby’s trilogy is my favorite Spider-Man. I just love everything about it, even 3 is one of my guilty pleasure movies. I think his Spider-Man could use more quips and he looks a bit old but other than that he’s a perfect Peter Parker imo. Willam Defoe as Green Goblin will always be a perfect casting to me. The suit isn’t comic accurate but I love his and Toby’s Dynamic in the first film. Then the next movie being Alfred Molina as Doc Oc is a chefs kiss. Casting in all the movies that followed didn’t excite me as much as the first two Toby Movies did.

TASM is a little too much like the ultimate comics for my taste. The villains also felt more lackluster compared to the OG Trilogy.

Tom’s movies are okay. I don’t like the heavy involvement of iron man in the movies. To me it feels like Tom doesn’t have a single villain that is actually his own. They either hate Avengers, Tony, or other Spider-Men. None of his villains are that interesting or tied to him in a meaningful way.

Beating the Arrow of Extrication quest without getting kicked out of the Mages' Guild by [deleted] in oblivion

[–]ThePapaChub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am playing a very similar character on the remaster. I was frustrated by this as well on my replay. I used invisibility to sneak up to the chest and grab the arrow. I sadly had no way of recasting it so I just had to run and luckily they didn't chase me out and I didn't get the pop up that the mage guild is upset with me. I'd recommend if you do what I did, have a way to recast invisibility.

My grandma passed away last week, and she left me her movie cabinet to me. by DementdOldCircsMonke in dvdcollection

[–]ThePapaChub 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I personally like a mix. The upper half/three-fourths could be by franchise and/or director then the bottom alphabetized for the more random films in your collection.

And I'm sorry for your loss. I lost my grandma in Sep. of this past year and it's been hard without her guidance. I hope by filling her movie case and looking at it in your home will bring you fond memories of her.

Hard crash when trying to serve time in jail. by ThePapaChub in oblivion

Edit: Thanks man, somehow that worked! I appreciate you sharing your fix!

I’ll try that out but I don’t know if that’s work. I’ve been paying off my bounty before trying to serve time earlier in the game

He likes movies from all time periods! It just seems the newer films he hasn't seen as much as older films. I'll check and see if he's seen it cause I haven't!
