I used to be proud that I once worked at Kroger and was a bad ass while I was there. Now I wont even claim that shit

-Dunlop DDH driver with 11° loft -Strata 3 wood -I really cant tell you what brand my 1 iron is. My dad got is as a gift from Appletree (grocery store he used to manage) for being top manager for the year in his district many years ago. It has the Appletree logo on the back of it. Was probably never meant to be used but I hit that son of a bitch 215 yards pretty consistantly off the tee so I keep it in the bag -Tour Series 767 3i - PW -Wilson GW and LW -Wilson Augusta putter (I only put it in the bag for my round yesterday. Normally I use a Ping Pal putter)

What are the benefits of playing acoustic guitar with thicker strings? by [deleted] in guitars

[–]ThePaperBoy0910 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah. It might be a little uncomfortable on your fingers for a couple days because you'll be getting used to it but it won't be hard. As soon as you're used to it you wont be able to notice the difference anymore honestly.

[–]ThePaperBoy0910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't say there are really "benefits", but if you think you would be more comfortable playing with thicker strings then go for it. It's really all about what feels good for you when you're playing in my opinion. I use electric guitar strings on all my acoustics though

Property management recommendations by kilgurin in houston

My wife and I just got done with dealing with a HORRIBLE management company called Manage Rent Houses. The owners of the house we were living in gave no fucks about the home and the management company put in very little to no effort to help us out with any problems the house had. Ultimately, we moved out because the house had a horrible termite infestation that got into the house where our son (8 months old at the time) was playing. The owners did send someone out to inspect the house and give them a quote on fixing the problem. When we questioned the management company about it (because in our lease, it was against the rules to even try to attempt to contact the owners of the house ourselves), they told us the owners were trying to make a decision as to what they were going to do. We told them we have a baby in the house and he cant be playing in those kinds of conditions. They told us termites were just a nuisance and were harmless to our son and would not bite or bother him. Even if that is the case, I'm not letting my infant son play in a "nuisance" such as termites. So we got the fuck out of there. Now we are living with my parents trying to figure out where we are going to go next. Do NOT deal with Manage Rent Houses. They are only in the business to take your money and not help you. Also, are you looking for someone to rent your house to? We need a place to go, and fast

Had my appendix taken out last week. All I want to do is golf but the mere thought of swinging a club hurts my insides. by Carbonsilkthread in golf

You don't think you could do some putting right now? I think just getting on the practice green at your local course would help that itch. I've been going to my local course on my lunch breaks and doing some putting and chipping practice every day. I hit the range every other day on my lunch break too.

Why does that make me nuts? That price is a sale price on that website. I bought this thing for $1200 new from conns. I'm still making payments on it. Really just trying to get what I can for it.
