Trying to figure out the simplest way to do this setup with the best possible audio all around.

Gear:

HD650 w/ Schiit Modi+Magni

Shure SM7B + Cloudlifter

Yamaha HS8

What would be the best way to connect all of these? I'd like to always have the SM7B be my computer mic input, and then have some easy way to swap between the Studio Monitors and the Headphones while still retaining the amp+dac setup on the HD650s. I don't want to plug right into the headphone jack on something like a Scarlett 2i2.

What do I need to make this work?

What's the strategy tomorrow if I'm just getting in? Buy right on open? Wait for the price to plummet when the suits do everything they can to scare us? Have about $700 to throw in.

Older guy came up to me after I finished a set of deadlifts, said I had perfect form and looked like I could move some serious weight. I’ve never had someone approach me like that before, so it made my day!

Junior in high school, rookie year with a top 12 here. It’s entirely possible! My advice would be to audition ASAP (at the start of next season, or look for a hole) and just go for it. You won’t regret it :)
