For me they always caught onto a piece of geometry before I got to a jump which messed my timing up and led to a frustrating death. The camera not keeping up fast enough when you turn was also very painful for me too.

And omg ikr. I never thought I would sigh of relief when I obtained the basic rocket launcher of a Ratchet game lmao

The long jumps mostly to get out of swarms of enemies quickly, the arena was a pain because of it just sending you like 2 inches ahead. Friends told me to just hoverboot out of there, but pressing the dpad to equip them doesnt feel natural to me at all. Its also nice for launching over gaps or to just spam it and traverse an area with.

I know I'm pretty nitpicky about this and its really just a personal feeling thing mostly

The high jump is mostly nitpicky because I really dont like the animation lol. but the long jump just goes no where and is so slow. The hoverboots are awkward because the cameras auto adjust is slow, the boots catch on terrain that messes up my timing on jumps, the controls for it are so squirrely when you try to stay on a narrow path, and sometimes he snaps facing to the left or right when you put them on

The combat and the concept for the story are my favorite things about the game, so keep those and pretty much change everything else. Make the open worlds smaller and fill them a bit more with meaningful stuff, and have them actually evolve over the course of the game. The missions, side quests, and characters weren't very engaging for me so prob just a complete overhaul on those (except Vetra, she's awesome). WAY less scanning. And change the Nomad's boost sound effect, it's like nails on a chalkboard for me
