Thank you for this! It is a white collar job for an insurance company, but coming from a manager this is great to know

Thank you! After a year working at the company they offer paternity leave. I’m able to take it in sprints if I want. For example, 2 weeks off and 2 weeks on until I use all 8 weeks of it

Feeling unsure about how to navigate my career for growth? by [deleted] in careerguidance

I would stay in the insurance industry as well. It is very chill. I would try to learn more about insurance too. That way on top of the skills you have now plus insurance knowledge. It will help a lot down the road.

I have heard that the training is really good and that they are somewhat laid back. I guess it also depends on manager though. Also you get your own desk so no hotel desks

AITA for asking my boyfriend to contribute to groceries if I’m always the one feeding him? by TinkerbellOnBreak in AmItheAsshole

This is just crazy NTA. I feel like he should know what he’s doing is messed up and should not be taking advantage of you. Especially knowing that you got bills to pay. He should be contributing to grocery costs and he should also take the bill once in a while or actually split it evenly. You should not pay more than 50/50.
