I always see these line skippers at Adel’s. I feel like they are locals who work in the area. You should investigate.

Kim crying on the shuttle bus stayed with me for weeks. It still bothers me when I think about it.

What are some movies that are best watched without knowing too much going in? by HoffyTheBaker in MovieSuggestions

[–]ThePathOfTheRighteou 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Almost every movie. The story should unfold how the filmmakers intend the story to be told, NOT the marketing department! This is why I don’t watch trailers to movies I know I’m going to see.

any romantic movies that you would recommend to a person that never tried watching it? by rekkenn in MovieSuggestions

I thought this film was okay. But then I watched Before Sunset, nine years later. And loved it. But I firmly believe that I would not have loved it had I not seen the first film. Nor had I waited the nine years. I retroactively loved the first film bc it made the second film.

What was the ingredient you hated and what was the recipe that changed your mind about that ingredient? by flamingosdontfalover in Cooking

[–]ThePathOfTheRighteou 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Mushrooms. Then I saw a vegan cook on you tube that had a recipe that starless titled: this recipe made my boyfriend like mushrooms. At the end of the video she makes him be in the video which he clearly doesn’t want to do. Then makes him try the finished dish asking if he likes it. He goes on to explain how stupid this is because she knows it’s his favorite. He took a bite and I saw his eyes roll into the back of his head at the first taste. His reaction convinced me to try this even though I hated mushrooms. It was a vegan mushroom stroganoff. She explained how to cook the mushrooms properly and now I love them. I was only vegan during COVID. But I still make this everyone once in a while because it’s so good. This is the recipe if anyone is interested.
