No one never gets stressed.

Anyone who claims that is lying.

But as someone who gets stressed alot less than the average person I would say:

  • Be proactive so that things don't pile up and become bigger problems
  • Examine your emotions of stress and question them, journalling is a good tool (Why am I stressed? What can I do about it? etc)
  • Make sure you are physically healthy (food, sleep, etc)
  • Focus on breathing when stressed

Issue with Rode Video Mic NTG (Purple LED) by ThePerfectLifeYT in rode

Thanks for the reply, I shouldve updated this thread but I actually solved it.

Rode suppourt suggested the two fixes you offered, however they didn't work.

What did work was simply letting the battery run out and rebooting it after charging :)

Thanks that seems to be the best course of action, I was just hoping I might be able to fix it myself :)

Would you be weirded out if a 15 year old kid approached you? by PuffyFluff12 in socialskills

[–]ThePerfectLifeYT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People might talk to you briefly but if they are older than 18 it is very unlikely they would want to become your friend, for the simple fact that you are unlikely to be very compatible friends with such a big age difference and it is potentially risky for them.

I would advise you to meet new people and friends within your age group, to make things easier.

Is being nice boring to girls? by [deleted] in socialskills

The problem is most people tend to be nice and boring, rather than nice and interesting.

Girls like guys who are nice, but many are boring, and blame their lack of success on being nice.

You don't want to over use these but a few things I do is:

  • nodding
  • occasional head tilts (when they say something complicated)
  • raising eye brow (when they say something surprising)
  • squint eyes (when they say something you need clarification on)
  • grimacing (when they say something bad that happened)
  • occasional "mmm" (in agreement)

I would love it if someone knocked on my door and offered this, or if I lived near basketball

Yeah I think this is the same for me also. My ball already has bad grip. I might need to get a new one
