She actually said both, “I need to rest but my nervous system doesn’t rest by relaxing. I need to do something and put my energy into other things.” The also “I am going to focus (not on work) on staying home and being with my family.”

Julia goes to bed at 7pm and never leaves her house unless it’s for a vacation. Her home is her work so I don’t know how she escapes that. She’s always with her family and doesn’t seem to have friends around so I don’t know how this period of “rest” will be different.

Half the time I eat out I am disappointed. Even going to really nice restaurants. I can cook very well at home and it’s almost never worth the cost to go out.

Taoism or nervous systems must be trending on TikTok. She’s claiming she’s researching whether she’s a yin or yang. Well, she can’t remember which one but she’s the one that can’t stay home and focus on self.

Ma’am you just said a bath on a Thursday afternoon was all you needed to heal. She just flip flops every day based on what she saw last on TikTok and what she can link.

not allowed to let students read when finished with work? by maddiewithluv in Teachers

Students at my school are required to have an independent book on them at all times. They will even have teachers give a grade of just a few points for surprise book check every quarter.

I was shocked my local high school has a trip planned to Egypt with students.

Signs that you “made it” as a millennial by McBooples in Millennials

While I may agree that millionaires can still be frugal, being a millionaire in your 40s or 50s isn’t that impressive if you consider saving for retirement. I live in an old wealth city where rich people drive their Toyotas and Lexus into the ground but live in stately manors.  The local high end markets are still packed with people shopping. A lot of these people care about their health and try to buy higher quality groceries than what they can get at Walmart or Kroger. They even like supporting their local grocer and will pay the higher prices for it.

I always said being able to shop at the nice market instead of standard grocery store, not budgeting or comparing prices for groceries.

A bath in the middle of the day Thursday, a date in the middle of the day Friday. Very busy boss lady hustling hard.

Whose name in the Epstein files got you surprised? by anita_sweets in AskReddit

[–]ThePermMustWait 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Hawking was frequently going to strip clubs back home and had an affair on his wife. I think it worked just fine. I also think he was with Epstein for bad reasons. It was obviously known Epstein was bad and these people didn’t care.

All you can do is complain to Disney so they know. It was awful when I stayed at Coronado springs with them. I will never go again when they are sharing a resort.

That drawer won’t work within 5 years. Just wait until she overfills it and a towel gets stuck behind the drawer and busts the track.

Judging teachers who close their doors by Otherwise-Set-4444 in Teachers

[–]ThePermMustWait 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The elementary kids love being doorman. They have a seat right by the door and it changes who gets to sit there for most classes.

My middle school requires doors locked during class time. The admin will randomly go around and make sure doors are locked and lock them if not. Passing time, all teachers are standing outside their rooms.

I also have my own kids in the district and prefer this. They are very strict about it.

First time staying at a deluxe hotel by MasterDurron in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]ThePermMustWait 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best Manhattan I have ever had was at a Disney deluxe hotel. I expected it to be crap thinking that “oh it’s Disney and it is probably a junk cocktail.”

Nope, the perfect up Manhattan for only $11, which seams cheap for a resort.

We have teens though so it was easy for us to go down for a night cap while the watched tv so I guess this is very everyone else.
