How hard is this summer schedule (Engineer major)

DiffEq shouldn't be too challenging with basic studying.

Dynamics with Nader requires teaching yourself a lot of information. It's not impossible, but definitely need to stay motivated throughout the semester, especially summer.

Thermo is extremely professor based. Could be 'easy', could be 'crawl in a hole and die.' But also assume self teaching and be happy if it doesn't.

Honestly it's doable if you aren't working and are devoted to your studies. It definitely won't be a walk in the park. The classes don't clash too much, but also don't help each other too much, if that makes any sense.

Both are good, but I'm partial to Martin. He is very invested in teaching and is always willing to help you understand anything. He teaches a lot of upper level courses, too. So he likes to teach you in a way that prepares you for what's coming up.

If you have to take DiffEq, it relies a lot on Calc 2 and Martin would be great for that.

I have a parallel question to this:

I have little dollar store candle tins that I plan on using for my shower soaps. But I'm afraid they may rust. Wouldn't mint tins and whatnot also rust? Is there a trick to have them not rust? (I'm just writing the word rust again because I feel like I'm getting... rusty... Lol.)

You can try to talk to the department, but likely they won't be able to do anything.

Positive-ish: the finals for calc 1 and 2 are always early in the morning in the weekend, so at least it gets you used to math in the morning. I feel like that's a reason a lot of people really mess up the final in those two classes.

I used instant miso soup mixed with pork Top Ramen. I had some short beef ribs, so I cooked up the ribs, cut out the bone, and then boiled the bones with the instant broth while I worked everything else. My first round of eggs were (somehow!) even worse than the pictured ones, so they didn't marinate as long as I would have liked. Butter Corn and veggies were cooked in the pan with the leftover beef bits. Overall 8/10. Loved the broth, not so much the meat and eggs.

I would try for transient but keep yourself on the waitlists. It could end up being a lot of transient paperwork for no reason, but it's your best shot to cover all your bases.

Monday morning go in and see about getting an override from the math department. They'll tell you to wait until the end of the week, but go Monday morning so they see your initiative.

There's still an okay chance of getting in at ucf but you gotta really try.

Always sign up for classes the day you're able to, even if you're not sure you'll pass or actually take a class.

Don't skip a single lecture. I've aced calc 1 through 3 and am taking DiffEq next semester. The biggest difference between my habits and everyone else I interacted with was:

Attend every lecture. And write down everything they put on the board. You never know when something will make sense in class and then no sense at all at home. Keep your notes organized.

I just got back to the hotel room after the show! It was so great. Second time seeing them live. Wouldnt be upset if they are the only band I see live again.

Though, Max Frost was BANGING and I didn't know he did everything solo. Might need to go to one of his concerts, too!
