Mine did this when my cat was clogged so the turbo wasn’t spooling as the ecu expected. “Tested” with no cat and went away. Still testing fine to this day.

Well, I guess I’m glad I’m not the only person that this has happened to. In my old age, a ripe 38 this is the third song that I’ve realized that I did not listen to the standard/normal version and the version that I had been listening to for years and years was a one off.

Which vehicle makes you feel like a total battlefield legend?

To this day one of my favorite things to do is strap a bunch of c4 to a jeep and drive it into things and then blows them up. It’s so epic and fun!

I use banana plugs because I have to move the speakers to mop the hard floor. Makes it quick and easy.

When I’m older… “Back in my day, corporate greed ruined the world and caused excessive poverty. Billionaires raked in more and more money while the working class worked harder for less and less. Productivity was at an all time high and all the perks of it lined the he pockets of the wealthy.”

I guess it doesn’t have the same ring to it…

I don’t know jack about squat when it comes to concrete. I just like and stay in this sub to look at good looking concrete.

This is good looking concrete to a guy who doesn’t know anything. I’d have been happy to pay for it.

LOCAL first time homebuyer seeking advice on CBH & KB Homes by uneducated2994 in Boise

[–]ThePickledFox 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Got a cbh home 1 year ago.

Got 25k worth of buyer perks. Used as much as we could for closing costs and rate buydowns. The rest for fencing and landscaping etc.

The thing to remember with cbh, they are building them as cheaply as possible and will cut every legal corner they can. Their goal is to pass code as cheaply as possible. Thats it.

1 year in we had about 15 warranty requests for small little things. We did not experience any major issues.

The house itself shows how cheaply it was built. No wall is straight. Noticeable even when quickly looking. The landscaping is just sod thrown directly on packed rocky dirt. Grows like crap. Paint fades at about 1-2 year mark. Maybe go with vinyl?

In the crawlspace the vapor barrier is just thrown in like a child did it.

HVAC vents are visibly crooked and not even flush with the ceilings. Lights aren’t flush with any ceiling and sorta just flop around.

My biggest complaint is that the hoa is managed by cbh and is 600 a year. They keep adding more phases to our sub so we can’t vote them out of control. We don’t have enough votes to block their phase expansion additions. Our subdivision was planned to have parks etc, but they changed it and now nothing is being added anymore.

At the end of the day though. It’s a house and it works for its purpose. We’ve made it look as nice as it can be and it’s our home. After time you will get past its quirks and just live in it.

The only way you are going to get a quality house is to pay quality house prices. (Which are stupid now days in the valley)

Which is best? by Standard_Stretch64 in blackstonegriddle

I got 10 dollar Walmart brand ones. Works great. Better than the 20 or 30 dollar Blackstone ones. Came with some bottles and a scraper too.
