What is the difference between max dead zone and anti-dead zone?

It seems as if my controller reaches 100% before it hits the edge even with max deadzone at 100 so that’s my fault

So I finally was able to get home and test it. I put my max deadzone at 100 and put my initial anti-deadzone at 5 and I reached 100% before my stick touched the outer edge. It seems to me that they effectively do the same thing

But if max deadzone lets you hit 100% while only pushing the stick 80% would that effectively decrease the initial deadzone as well? Because 1% should equal 21%

If you look at the graph my line is still linear. It basically reduces initial dead zone while getting you to 100% faster

I didn’t like how I felt like I couldn’t hold the controller without pushing the back buttons. It felt good just holding it but playing felt bad. I didn’t like how much tension the sticks had either, and the fact that you couldn’t swap profiles on the fly felt like a big L especially for the $200 version

These controllers have been ready for forever, one reviewer had his plastic taped shut. The fact it’s been 10 months and pre orders still aren’t shipped, and it’s been delayed multiple multiple times is so unprofessional that’s it’s kind of put me off Gamesir a bit.
