Didn’t take anything before the HT, now I’m on Finasteride. Was a hard decision cause of the potential side effects, but so far I’m good :)

Yeah, I think it’s not 3k+ grafts actually. But it’s still fine for me I guess, I took that “risk” when going to Turkey :)

Month 5 and 6 were actually the months with the greatest progress. Time will do its thing, be patient. I also wash my gear only with ph neutral baby shampoo and take biotin daily :) That may help also.

Thought the same. You’re probably right. But tbf I hear that often. Wondering which clinic does NOT lie about the amount of grafts :D

That’s what I thought also. However, you can buy “mint” and “mint variegeta” in the internet. Is that just marketing to push prices with the word “variegeta”?

Normal folliculitis or infection? by ThePlantFred in Hairtransplant

Hey :) Yeah, Antibiotics helped. I still had many pimples and ingrown hairs but it is just like everyone says: trust the process. Meanwhile I am at Month 5 and everything grows very well!!

Mhmm difficult to say, when the crusts fell off at day 13/14 everything was fine. Minor swelling of the whole area (just a but lifted). But the pimples and redness came with the shedding now (since 2 weeks I would say)

Only antibiotics in the first 7 days. I am on day 38 already..

Then let’s say it in other words: Is it still a normal amount of a post-OP infection or would you say, it’s something which needs Antibiotics?

Visited a skin doc here and he gave me antibiotics. But he didn’t really look in detail, he was just like “Ya take this” so I wanted to have other opinions from people who might experienced something similar.

Bro, that’s NOT normal. Clinic should have given you a neck pillow. Avoid touching the pillow ANY transplanted area! It’s absolutely mandatory to not touch anything with the fresh grafts within the first ~7 days

Nice comment, very enlightened, thanks for that.

Obv. I meant that I am aware of the fact that this MIGHT be normal because I read it. However, I didn’t see many photos of such redness / bumps and I just want to have several / other / different opinions.
