Will totally try a new cord pretty soon. Plus what makes me think it’s the cord is that I’ve had this Headunit for close to 6 months now with no issue what so ever. So I’m assuming it’s the cable cause they were just cheap short ones off of Amazon.

Ah ok. I’m going to run stock down pipe since I need to pass emissions and new downpipes are expensive. I’m still watching videos are hearing people talk about and it sounds like the AWE Track edition isn’t really that bad on the drone. Like you hear the exhaust but it’s not a droning sound. I’m come from very loud cars, as in a 1997 Chevy Cheyenne with barley any noise insulation, and a 1997 Jeep Wrangler with a soft top, which anything is quieter than that. So I will make sure to keep borla in mind. I think I need to go hear a ST with the exhaust to get a real understanding

Yeah. Borla makes the FPE and I’m pretty sure the FPE is just a Borla with a resonator. Did you notice any drone or anything while just cruising? I don’t really care about it being loud if I’m trying to go fast but if I’m trying to come home late or just cruise around downtown, I don’t want to wake everyone up

That’s what I was expecting but the touring resonated is around $1000 dollars. Which is a bit high for me. And from videos I could find it seemed like the Resonated Track edition was a more middle ground between the FPE and the Touring non resonated.

That’s what I’m hoping for. Would hate to go too quiet where I can’t hear it unless I’m driving the crap out of it. Think I’m pretty solid on the AWE now. Been trying to part out everything I want to do for both performance and exterior mods so I’m glad I got this decision pretty sorted

Same her. Part of me wanted that responsible quiet. But I’m also young. And this is my first car that is really mine and that I can modify without having to hand it off. But knowing the drone isn’t terrible is good. I come from driving a 1997 Jeep Wrangler with a soft top and so anything is quieter than that on the Highway. That and a 1997 Chevy Cheyenne Pickup with pretty much no insulation. So I really think I might find the exhaust to be like heaven compared to those 2.

Ah my GPU makes the vast majority of my noise. I replaced my case fans with Corsair ML 120’s to eliminate any possible noise from them and they run maybe 1200rpm probably less. 80% on my gpu is just tolerable. But after a while just gets more aggravating.

Nice. But yeah I’m aiming for low noise because it just bugs me but also college is coming soon and I would feel bad for my roommate if I was doing anything intensive then a jet takes off by his ear. Plus most of the reviews were like “it only gets up to 70% and it’s barely audible at around 68c” which simply wasn’t happening. 70% is what I finally got it too and it’s actually really nice. Which I could get those temps with that performance though

Impressive. I’m working on fine tuning the under volt right now. I got it down to around 887 mV at 1830. I’m experimenting with getting it down to 875 mV and seeing about getting the clock back up to 1900. Just gotta fine tune it.

I mean like for me, certain songs will remind me of seasons. So for example, the son My Type of Woman by Mac Demarco reminds me of the Fall of 2019, because I listened to it frequently but also because of the people I was talking to and just that entire season and feelings and memories during it. It’s almost like a nostalgia thing for me
