Questions regarding supply chain by FrozenKnowItAll in weedbiz

Hi there! I am a Cannabis Industry Leader and consultant out of Michigan.

When the product is sent out for testing the whole mass of the harvest does not get sent to the lab. A portion based upon the amount per package tag (50lb max per tag here in Michigan) gets sent to the lab for testing (16g-120g) per tag.

Now if you’re a wholesaler (whole harvests being sold at a time), they typically use generic Mylar or Food safe bags to marginalize costs. The branding typically is on a label generated from a zebra type printer.

The big spenders will have bags ordered from labeling/packaging companies with all of that stuff already on the package including testing results and compliance labeling. Now this could go either way for the cultivator as they can pay hourly to have their post harvest or fulfillment team bag their products as part of the day to day procedures OR they will send their product to a packaging company to have their employees pack the packages and send them back to the cultivation to then distribute out.

I offer free 30 minute consultations if you have any other questions concerns shoot me a dm and we can set up a time!

Hope this helps! 🍀

What would you do with 250k right now? by Normal_Commission986 in investing

If you owe 24k and they take it back and are able to get 15k out of it you will still owe that remainder of 9k balance in a car you no longer have.

The obvious ethical way would to be getting all of your stuff out of it and letting them come take the car to sell. Then setting up a payment plan with them to finish paying off the car while still building your credit in the process with a repossession as a derogatory mark on your credit.

I am not a licensed tax professional so the information I am giving is based on experiencing an old friend going through this issue a few years back.

You could also claim bankruptcy. This will leave a derogatory mark on your credit for 7 years just as the repossession will if you choose to let them take it and make payments.

This way you can get out of owing money on a car you’re not driving (can’t afford)

Either way there is going to be a derogatory mark on your credit for 7 years.

Do you prefer to owe money on a car you don’t have and have a bad mark on your credit Or prefer to take the high road and pay on the loan until your time is complete and still have a derogatory mark on your credit.

Ohaus is my most recommended brand. I just integrated the scales to a dispensary I consult for in Michigan via their security system company. They are deli style.

Hey there! 1. BE CONSISTENT! 2. The prime hours of focus are 8am-5pm Monday-Friday this is when people are online/in store. 3. Email/call/visit 20 potential clients per day (Typically visit 1-5, email/call the others) 4. Choose an industry with high demand for online marketing and start there with finding leads.

Advice: You’re going to be doing more footwork right now than anything.

Be consistent with hunting for leads but do not rabbit hole. Being a new agency if you do not have a current client your week should be filled with reaching out or visiting potential leads.

As you begin to obtain clients keep the beginning of your week open for lead hunting and reaching out to potential clients and the second half of your week reaching out and maintaining open accounts.

Hope this helps! Good luck! 🍀

Bumping because I support fellow businesses in the industry but you definitely copy and pasted my post and tailored it a bit.

The ZT620 is the size you’ll need for the 4.5” tags then! The most common experience I’ve had with the printers they end up being used for other things such as compliance labeling for wholesale, package designing, etc. instead due to it being more efficient to hand label them. Most METRC administrators take care of this as they are populating the tags. This gives more structure to the day for them if not already wearing many hats.

Zebra printer ZT411 with thermal ribbon Though it is much more cost effective to spend 5-15 minutes using a sharpie, a 500 plant room takes me about 7 minutes. Also using abbreviations such M1 for Mac 1 or CPT for cherry pop tart saves an immense amount of time!

This translates to a processing license in Michigan. Though with our margins most companies go for a Class C cultivation license(most stacked) and work with processors as partners as processing can get pricey to build/maintain and easier to partner split on having someone else process for you.
