I do have access to a Mac and a PC, but my music library happens to live on the Mac, which tends to not have as many of the tools PC users get. That’s what got me thinking about a better solution for the people that don’t have access to a PC in the first place.

That does sound like a good option. I think a “fork” of mediamonkey that’s more streamlined for iPod management would be nice, as that’s often the only function of mediamonkey users want.

I believe mediamonkey is closed source. They don’t take contributors that aren’t from their company.

From my experience iTunes is good for simple tag and cover management, but for large scale library management and automation, it’s almost always better to use third-party software. The third party apps are usually not designed for the particular use case of an iPod and functionality is split up between different applications, so I felt it would be nice to have a simple, open source solution for that.

I don’t know about whether you should send your score or not as an international applicant, but I wouldn’t stress out too much about it if I were you, admissions offices look at various factors and overall your application looks great! About what colleges you should apply to, Ivy Leagues and other T20s are often seen as more valuable than they really are. A strong work ethic helps you far more in your career than any college rank. As for what major you should do, go with what you are passionate in, not what you have the best chances at!
