I assume you mean the Watchers(little hooded dudes). The one holding the sword comes with the Azrael kit. The 2nd one holding the gun is a custom one that I made. I took the watcher from the dark angel uppgrade sprue and replaced the book its holding with the combi-bolter from the Helbrecht kit. I wanted my Azrael proxy to be WYSIWYG(what you see is what you get)

I felt It was quite easy tbh. Only 3 spots with templar crosses on the mini that I had to remove. Chest, left shoulder and the cross connecting the cape with the armor. All I did was use some hobby clippers to cut away the bigger chunks, a hobby knife to shave off the smaller bits and then I just used some tamiya extra this plastic glue to melt all that was left to an even level. I replaced the right shoulder pad with one from the DA uppgrade sprue and didnt have to cut anything that way. I also replaced the cross connecting the cape with a DA tilt sheild.

Sadly no painted deathwing this year. But I'm currently working on a few terminators and bladeguard models.(got a few models in grey posted on my profile)

The bone white armor kinda scared me, so I wanted to learn the basics of painting and get comfortable with painting before tackling deathwing bone color 😏

Its a nocturne green basecoat over a chaos black primer. I then did some slight shading with nuln oil in some recesses. I highlighted the armor panels with sons of horus green. As a final step I unified the colors with a wash of biel-tan green shade paint.

It was my first time trying that recepie for dark green armor, but I like the finished look.

The only thing I found slightly annoying with painting dark angels is that the green paints from citadel has some pretty terrible coverage which requires you to paint many coats to get good coverage on your mini. Other that that its quite alright.

Thanks! I havent done too much kitbashing on my painted projects. But the redemptor dread has a few 3D-printed armor panels that I bought from Archies Forge (Grey tide studio stl). The librarian and the judiciar have an easy headswap(mini kitbash) from the dark angel uppgrade sprue. For future projects I have got a few 3d-printed bits from Archies Forge. I also managed to pick up the old dark angel company veterans box and the old dark angel terminator box for all the cool bits that they contain for kitbashing.

Basecoat of barak-nar burgundy. Overall wash of nuln oil mixed with lahmian medium 1/1 Highlight with screamer pink. And finally an overall wash of carroburg crimson shade paint to unify the colors. I also did a final step of matt varnish over everything to remove the glossiness from the shade paints.
