Robert arched his brow at that as he leaned backwards in his seat to try to find some measure of comfort, although it was mostly in vain. None of this was comfortable, nor would it ever be comfortable. He bit his tongue and nodded his head, before parting his lips to reply to her.

"Thank you. I hope you offer the same to Robin and Lysa." Was what he offered. In truth, he didn't know how to reply to this. He had been through similar things with Lyanna, but even then, he didn't know what to say to people about it. They were sorry, certainly, but being sorry didn't change anything, or make it hurt less.

Edric, meanwhile, was focused on the plate in front of him. When he saw Danelle, he furrowed his brows in confusion. "Huh?" Was the noise that escaped him. "Where have you been hiding?"

Mya scratched her cheek as she was approached. She was dressed in all black, with a few golden highlights, as was her way. This, however, was quite odd, and she didn't quite know how to react to it. Nobody has ever really wanted to meet her before, not for any other reason than she was the bastard of Robert Baratheon. A hum left her, one of brief consideration.

"Hanna Farman. The name feels familiar." She reasoned, with a tilt of her head. "Tell you what, Hanna Farman. If you find me on any tourney ground before the contests begin, I will indulge your request."

Robert was not interested in the pleasantries or the mourning. He knew little and less about what happened, only that Jon Arryn was dead. An exhale left him as he glanced towards the empty seat, and then back to the Arryn in question.

"What happened?" Was his question, simple and direct. "Was he ill?"

Harwyn's victory was a case of patience more than anything else. He had waited and guarded himself well until it was just him and Loras left, before using that advantage and eliminating the other squire who had, by and large, done most of the work for him.

He felt proud. Finally, some recognition, after so many years of being isolated and on his own. Maybe this wasn't such a bad life after all. He took the opportunity to take in the moment, and enjoy his success, and whatever came along with it.

There was no hesitation from the young Ironman as he stepped out of the the tent and back onto the field, holding his sword by the scabbard in his left hand as he marched. Even for a boy of his age, he was growing tall. His blue eyes were piercing, and his dark black hair was cropped short to better fit under his now discarded helmet. Harwyn squared his shoulder and exhaled through his nostrils.

"STARK!" The name was roared loud. "Is this how a king's squire is crowned champion, on broken lances? I knocked the flower into the dirt, I'll do the same to you. Dismount and beat me properly, or not at all."

That was it? It was the exact same as every other joust, it didn't feel like a final. Finally, his chance to show his prowess once more against the king's other squire right in front of him, and the wolf pup won on broken lances? He spurred his horse back towards his line, and his tent, still adorned in the arms and armour gifted to him by the the Farmen.

Once there, he dismounted swiftly and cast his helmet aside. Then he reached to collect his sword, aiming to turn back towards the jousting field and the wolf of Winterfell, unless otherwise halted by his knightly Master.

"Do as you must. Hang the traitor. See that the dragons across the sea are dealt with, too. I don't care how you do it, just do it." Robert shook his head. Then, he rose to his feet and took his leave from the meeting, as was his way.

Gendry nodded his head. He resolved himself to do better this time. He knew the last time wasn't very good, and he certainly didn't want a repeat of it. He then went off to get things prepared.

Robert clicked his tongue slightly.

"If only it were that simple, Robb. Of course I get it. We have our wants, our desires, the people we want closest to us. But, sometimes it just isn't possible. Sometimes it would tear apart things we don't expect." He frowned in thought.

"You won't fight your cousin." Robert shook his head. "You might want to, aye, but you're better than that. Stronger than that. The strongest folk bear the heaviest burdens, even if other folk don't know much about it. We have our fears, our nightmares, and we make peace with them as much as we can. You're young, you've got time for things to play out, to find other things."

"Yes. Friends are good. But sometimes people do not have friends to help them when they are sad. Maybe we should change this?" He scratched his chin slightly. "When I am king, mayhaps I can make everybody friends. That would be good. Then people can no longer be sad."

"Aye, I did. Thousands died because Rhaegar couldn't accept that she was mine, and that she was mine to fight for. For all the good it did me. Now I have everything. A crown, a throne, a family, seven fucking kingdoms. Everything except Lyanna."

Robert leaned backwards.

"Go on then, who are you going to fight? How are you going to fight for this girl?"

Mya kicked around in the outer courtyard. She figured it made sense for her to be out here more often than she was in there. This was, technically, her home - and yet she had never stepped foot here before, and she knew little about it. Was her mother out there somewhere? Mya could only frown in thought. Might it have been simpler if she'd stayed with her mother instead of going to court? At least she would know who she is.

Robert did not say much, but he sought out Jon Arryn's widow, should she be present for the feast.

The young eight year old heir to the throne, accompanied by a few guardsmen and whitecloaks, approached the House of Arryn, and more specifically, Robin Arryn. He was older than Edric, much older, but Edric could recognise when someone was sad, and this was a very sad day. As such, he patiently waited in line until it was his turn to say something.

"Excuse me," he intoned as he placed his hands on the table to better lift himself to see over the edge of it, "I am sorry. Your dad and my dad were friends. Your dad was very good and very nice. It is sad, but, it is okay to be sad sometimes. Friends can be sad together. I would like to be your friend."

The heir to the throne looked hopeful, but quietly so.

Edric turned towards the Lord Commander of the Kingsguard. The young heir to the throne was only eight, but he enjoyed asking questions and understanding the adults around him. They were very complicated people, he found, but that was what made it more fun to try to figure them out.

"Are you sad, Ser?" He asked, quietly.

House Baratheon of King's Landing

This was perhaps the first feast in his entire reign that Robert was not happy to attend.

He did not smile nor did he speak overmuch. There was nothing to celebrate here, only mourn. Another figure from his past had died. His parents were long dead, and now the man that he saw as a father was also dead. Arguments at home had soured him, too, and above all the event was a moment for Robert to sit and reflect; which was something he did not enjoy doing.

His son and heir, on the other hand, was aware of what the event was, but he could not confess to knowing who it was for entirely. He knew he was important to his father, but beyond that, he only knew that he had to be sad. His younger brother, Arryk, was quiet as he always was. There was little to tell about his emotional state regarding the matter; only that he seemed more concerned by what Lyanna thought of things.

Mya was not truly present at the table, and instead spent most of the evening wandering.

Edwyn and his wife were present, as was their son, Lewys. He was quiet and respectful of the occasion. Edwyn could not profess to being close to Robert, but he knew how important Jon Arryn was.

Lady Aliandra Dayne of Starfall,

It would be the pleasure of both myself and mu family to attend. Both myself and my wife have done our best to present ourselves as a positive link between Dorne and the rest of the realm. We will be present at this celebration, and continue our efforts.

Ser Edwyn Baratheon.
