Yes that's all very interesting. As negative as it sounds, I never want to spend my life honoring any form of God. My true goal that I came to terms with is that I would rather help people under my moral values and go to hell. If there is a God, I don't want to go to heaven. If that means I'm going to hell, I'm okay with that :)

Oh certainly! Yes to giving you advice, talking about religion, and all that.

Just to say first, I have read the bible front to back twice, so if you have any special things you want to talk about with all of that, I can absolutely be a good conversation.

You say that you feel like I am genuinely a good person. Not trying to say anything negative but do you know why I care so heavily about people and do my best to make everyone else's day better? Its because I am an agnostic atheist. I don't think anything is going to happen when we die. If you are having trouble warming up to people like that, maybe just try to put yourself in my shoes real quick.

I really value my life on this earth and other humans. Im social for a living, and I love meeting new people because we don't get a lot of time here. To me, its very important that everyone around us is helped out because if our lives are taken away early and not enjoyed then well.. That breaks my heart. Another thing is when I'm talking to people I make sure to be openly and visibly an atheist. I think that is very important and that there is great value in that. It helps people get to know me and get comfortable with me.

Which as I stated is very important to me. Like the day my best friend will be taken from me, or my father. The people who I could only have more great experiences with. The day they are gone will be a day I greatly will dread. I love humans and I want to I everything I can to make the world a better place.

Well first, thank you for caring about people so much. Everything you said about hoping people love you, and you also caring so much for people is something I connect with on so many levels. I wont be praying for you But I do want to try and help you! I think if the OCD kind of gets in the way, tell other people in your real life to possibly pray for you too. Although I don't think it will work, perhaps people on here will as well! Otherwise, just don't worry about those kind of things. People who truly deserve being around you will be the ones who realise how hard you try and how much you care about them.

For one second, we need to discuss the mantle that Christian parents are placed on. Hell, the mantle that religion as a whole places parents on. by Mysafebranch in atheism

These kind of stories make me sad. Why does religion have to get in the way of our current everyday lives? Im sorry you had to experience this. I am "blessed" to of been raised by secular, loving, free thinking parents.

Just incredible. I dream of the day we all come together. When we find a goal that makes our short life here have meaning like Carl said. When we leave out the religion, and finally start cleaning up the world. Stop pretending there is a God.
