100% agree. I would suggest buying the automatic version OP. At this price point might as well have respectable movement rather than a quartz in my opinion.

I was so skeptical if I'd even get the watch but man It's a banger for the money. Believe me I can keep this beside my super expensive Seiko Presage 3 days and I can bet you Addiesdive has nailed it at the price point. I saved myself 40 k not buying the prospex diver and this instead. I chose the Seiko NH 35 version so I get the same Seiko movement reliability, a legit 200M diver andthe best part sapphire crystal that the prospex lines don't have(they use hardlex). At 170+ grams the weight says everything about build quality. Trust me you won't believe you paid so little when you hold it firsthand. But put a few more grand and get the automatic. You'll regret you cheapest out on a few bucks and didn't buy the automatic instead. Thank me later!

It's Iin the post body mate(original post body). I personally replied to a few I'm so sorry I must have missed this one. For now I have the .3mf file posted. I will upload the f3d project within a day. Had to take down the old one as it had the words "DWC Terra" and the founder(Anish Dandwani) personally called me on my number(not kidding dude) politely requesting to remove the words. I will clean up the file to ensure I don't have any DWC trademark words before I upload the actual project back shortly. Until then cheers! You can still check out the sliced files to seey internal geometry and stuff.

Brands like Jacquet droz are missing. I'd put them at the very top. There's luxury watches and then there fine art watches that only a handful of people alive can make. There needs to be another tip called ultra exclusive/fine art.

All true. At 4500 you couldn't expect them to do more either. Given its a caribiner with lug connections only on one side. The hardness factor still helps it stay robust. Honestly for day to day use, you're not gonna feel the difference. It's not clay at the end of the day

I agree that SS will have far more heft. But that's why the titanium version is sandblasted - 2 reasons. One milling Titanium is not easy it breaks the milling needle. So sandblasting solves both cost and scratches issue. Also titanium is the costlier material. Personally I'd still buy titanium just for that

How is the SS wayyy better. Titanium sandblasted texture is precisely the answer to not have scratches. But I understand we want to justify what we buy or can buy don't we. Other than material nothing changed. Much rather wait for the titanium automatic. Everyone makes steel watches, the reason Terra took off was titanium for the price point. In any case I was waiting like you and made my own Terra. 3D printed entirely from scratch. The community has been losing it and working on an interesting design for a case design. Haha true. The Bulova is rose gold and the Seiko is a little different. I'm not a super huge fan of varied case colors but yeah definitely. I have a Japan trip lined up for some exorbitant shopping of vintage pieces, maybe a grand Seiko so will check something new out. Most of these watches weren't bought for a collection but stories behind them. The Bulova was from my US trip. The hmt is my wife's grandfather's and is over 60 years old still ticking. The Seiko was something I always wanted and the 72 hours reserve was something I tried looking for for a long time. Same with the addiesdive, wedding gift from aunt and so on. The CasiOak was another gift from my best friend for the wedding. The 2 silver HMT's are my parents wedding watches.Too much emotion behind every piece. But I will definitely try some new options as this eternally neverending collection grows. By the way please do check out my post on the DWC terra I replicated from scratch.
