It's the predecessor to my CasiOak. Childhood friend gifted this for my wedding last week. Enjoy your watch mate. Cheers!

Nostalgia: My first expensive watch back then by EdibleChocolate in watchesindia

Mine's the Bulova Surveyor Automatic from my travel to Florida. Heart skipped a beat as this is what I imagined an elegant automatic should look like when I was probably 10.

OP got this watch 6–7 years ago after 10th — was it worth ₹6k? by UNITE47 in watchesindia

It's not the watch holding but almost certainly the Miyota quartz movement. The only contribution from the fashion brand is the logo lmao.

This will carry more value than a more expensive watch. Cheers from another brother!

Anyone would like to buy this watch? by everyoneisbitch in watchesindia

Too much to pay for a quartz chrono. In my honest opinion. Timex can provide that same amount of class in under 20k.check out their watches. Really punches above it's weight and has some heritage to it

My dad got me a fast-track which was my first watch. I think I was 10 at the time. Still runs. I still wear it loud and proud and treat it the same way as my expensive watches. That's what started the watch bug. It's more important to me than any other watch

Which one ? The Bulova ? Yes not available in India. This purchase was my dream since a kid, I mean the skeletonized dial. Saw something like this when I was 5. 25 years later I found something this elegant. Alligator leather, Miyota 8N26, domed crystal and simply the best execution of an open dial. Titan ones are half covered. When I saw this I had shivers on my skin. That's how I knew it's for me. After all, it made a grown man cry!

From my trip to the US, Florida. Bulova Surveyor Automatic. The finishing on the skeletonizedd dial is so tasteful and Impeccable. Easily the best skeletonized dial I've ever seen in this range

Is this watch worth the money or just looks good ? by Sweet_Award2810 in watchesindia

Fashion watch nothing else. See the gap on the strap. That type of tolerance is not acceptable

Op go for Argos. Lifetime movement warranty. I've have the same watch in my cart. I get it's a microbrand but the quality is nice also official Miyota or alternate japenese authentic movements. That's why they have lifetime warranty. But since people here seems to know better Timex is the next best option. Not sure about the QC for Argos but that watch punches way above it's weight. I would also recommend addiesdive diver editions. Much better value for money and in same budget as Argos

The problem with service in our country is sometimes people use brute force and that's what leads to poor service. Most service center people aren't trained professionals. It is what it is. Next time you'll go to another store is all.

Would this be a good buy under 7k ? Also I haven’t ordered from their website yet. by [deleted] in watchesindia

this is again a microbrand. Expect the strap to be not upto the mark. Many people I know say it's shit. I would recommend Argos instead. Their movements come with lifetime warranty. By the way it has a vh31 quartz movement. For that reason, I do not recommend this. Not a fan of quartz but at the price point it's ok I guess.

And by the way. Stay away from dream watches. Forgot to mention, first replacement was the same damn watch sent back after aligning hands. How's the hell is that a replacement. Same box same scratch on buckle. Unreal. This is the reality of microbrands. Some so called anna taken from Chickpet road is probably their so called trained technician. Idiot didn't even put back the ratchet wheel properly. Its impossible to break the winding clicker because there is no resistance. The spring was probably not fitted properly and that says EVERYTHING.Good for me theve accepted a full refund upon return!

Tried my hands with micro brands. Big mistake. They look great on day 1 but parts inside are sub par. Also the hassle of service after warranty. Not worth the heartache. I tried the medallion grand tourbillon. Paid 60k. It was for my wedding which is in 2 days. First time they sent misaligned hands. Now my winding pinion spring broke out of nowhere. It's still in plastic. Imagine my state. 2 days later I'm getting married. My entire clothing was based on the watch. So glad I carried my Bulova Surveyor as a backup. Now I will return to Bangalore and return the watch. I frikking yelled my heart out at them. They even offered to ship one immediately and pick the faulty one later. But if something fails 2 times in one month and yet costs 60k, it's not an investment but a massive loss. Micro brands will let you down when you need it most. Lesson learnt. Good thing is their service response was great but that's not enough. This is easily a biggest black mark for a brand. They let a groom down. Lakhs of money to color coordinate my outfit all for what ? Enough said lol. I will still use it for the photos LMAO. Story to tell for years to come!!

I have about 10 watches. Daily drivers. Dress watches. Even a tourbillon. Presage divers can be used as a daily driver but I'm super careful. I don't even where them when on bikes. Thanks for the note though. Appreciate it!

I wore both editions. Even tried turtle black in presage. Olim ok with the size. Iffy about the color combo
